Dampening device for an instrumental drum
A drum dampening device includes a foam pad adapted to be selectively engageable with drum wires on the drum. The foam pad is configured to dampen vibrations of the drum wires when the foam pad is engaged with the drum wires. A support plate is coupled to the foam pad, and a base plate is coupled to the support plate. An adjustment lever is coupled to the support plate and the base plate. The adjustment lever is selectively transitional between a first position and a second position, with transition of the adjustment lever from the first position toward the second position causing at least a portion of the support plate to move away from the base plate resulting in engagement of the foam pad with the drum wires.
SOUND DAMPING DEVICE, SOUND DAMPING METHOD, AND VIBRATION DETECTION DEVICE
A sound damping device includes a sound damper and a support member. The sound damper includes a contact surface configured to contact a vibration member and includes a through-hole having a first opening formed on the contact surface. The support member is coupled to the sound damper to support the sound damper and cause the vibration member and the contact surface to come into contact with each other. The support member includes an air hole that is connected to the through-hole of the sound damper and that penetrates through the support member.

Supporting apparatus for kick pad
A supporting apparatus (40) for a kick pad (1) includes a supporting frame (4144) that supports a kick pad (1) including a piezoelectric element that converts a vibration generated by beating with a beater into an electric signal and outputs the electric signal, and a fixation frame (51, 52) that fixes the supporting apparatus (40) to an inner surface of a shell of a bass drum while a striking surface (2a) of the kick pad (1) is arranged in a position beaten by the beater.
ACOUSTIC CYMBAL DAMPER FOR MUSICAL PERFORMANCE
An acoustic damper system is described that is suitable for musical performances. In one example, a musical instrument is carried on a stand. A fixture is configured to be attached to the musical instrument stand and one or more fingers extend away from the fixture and the musical instrument stand to contact the musical instrument, such as a cymbal. An acoustic shield can also be attached to the musical instrument stand that has a side wall surrounding a portion of the edge of the musical instrument to reflect sound back toward the musical instrument.
Cymbal dampening system
A cymbal dampening system is configured to alter sound vibration of a cymbal. The cymbal dampening system has a first dampening bracket joined to a first wrap having a first pad that is adjacent to the cymbal. A second dampening bracket is joined to the first dampening bracket and a third dampening bracket with a cord. The second dampening bracket is joined to a second wrap having a second pad that is adjacent to the cymbal. The third dampening bracket is joined to a third wrap having a third pad that is adjacent to the cymbal. The first pad, the second pad and the third pad operate to alter sound vibration of the cymbal when struck.

Cymbal damping tool and method of producing the same
There is provided a cymbal damping tool that is attached to a cymbal. The damping tool includes a cylindrical part, a membrane part configured to be a film shape or reticulated and having an inner edge connected to the cylindrical part and disposed on a lower surface side of the cymbal, a frame part that is connected to an outer edge of the membrane part, and a first sensor that is attached to an upper surface of the membrane part.
