Film formed snare and reduced volume snare drumhead
A snare unit formed from film material includes a plurality of slots that define segments. The snare unit is attachable relative to a drumhead with a surface of the film flat against a surface of the drumhead. In the attached position, one or more of the segments vibrates against the drumhead when the drumhead is struck to produce a snare-like audible sound. In a drumhead with reduced volume, the snare unit is positioned flat against one or more layers of a porous material to define a drumhead and attached such that a portion of the snare unit vibrates against a surface of the porous material when the drumhead is struck, thereby producing a snare-like sound having a volume reduced relative to a standard drumhead.

The present invention provides an electronic percussion melody musical instrument, comprising: a key module including a plurality of keys each arranged to receive a knock from the outside, and a plurality of energy conversion units each configured to sense mechanical energy generated by the knocking of the key and convert the mechanical energy into electrical energy in the form of an electrical signal; a storage unit configured to store sound source data associated with the plurality of keys; an output unit configured to output a sound signal corresponding to the sound source data; and a control unit configured to: receive the electrical signal from the energy conversion unit; acquire the sound source data associated with the electrical signal from the storage unit according to the electrical signal; and control the output unit to output the sound signal corresponding to the sound source data.
Outdoor mushroom instruments
The present disclosure relates to outdoor musical instruments configured to replicate the appearance of a mushroom and to withstand prolonged exposure to the environment. The musical instrument is made up of at least a metal dish mounted to a weather-resistant support post. The metal dish is mounted to the top of the support post, and the bottom surface of the metal dish is separated from the top end of the support post by a non-metal isolator. The musical instrument is configured to produce a note that sustains when the top surface of the metal dish is struck by a mallet.

Drumstick

A drumstick includes: a first rod-like portion, which is made of a synthetic resin, and includes a tip and a shoulder; and a second rod-like portion, which is coupled to the first rod-like portion, and includes a grip, wherein the first rod-like portion has a cavity defined therein so as to extend along an axial direction and over an entire length of the first rod-like portion, and wherein the cavity is open to an outside at an opening portion formed at a distal end of the tip.

Multi tonal cymbals are provided having a metallic structure, the structure having a plurality of radial cuts therein defining a plurality of segments, each of the plurality of segments providing a tone different than another of the plurality of segments. The different tone may be achieved with radial cuts having different dimensions and/or placed on different locations on the cymbal to create different shaped/sized segments.
