Artificial intelligence methodology to automatically generate interactive play along songs
A method and system of using Artificial Intelligence to automatically create and generate an interactive play-along song from a selected audio file/song imported from either a music streaming service, a personal music library and the like, that can later be played on an interactive music engine.
TRANSPOSING DEVICE, TRANSPOSING METHOD AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM
In transposing a piece of music in accordance with the sound range of a musical instrument or the vocal range of a singer, an amount of transposition is determined in consideration of the sound range and a key signature resulting from the transposition. A transposing device according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a data acquisition unit configured to acquire a predetermined sound range, key information of a predetermined piece of music, and pitch information of sounds constituting the predetermined piece of music and a transposition amount determination unit configured to calculate a value of transposition evaluation on the basis of the sound range, the key information of the piece of music, and the pitch information and to determine an amount of transposition on the basis of the value of transposition evaluation.
Musical instruments including keyboard guitars
A musical instrument, for example, a keyboard guitar, includes a body, an elongated neck coupled to the body, neck keys disposed on the elongated neck, and an output for transmitting an electrical signal generated by the musical instrument. Activation of each neck key generates an electrical signal at the output representing a pitch associated with a musical note. The musical instrument may also include body keys disposed on the body, and a strum bar that generates an electrical signal at the output representing a pitch associated with a musical note based on which of the body keys are activated during activation of the strum bar. Further, the musical instrument may include a continuous graphic image spanning the front face of the body and the body keys, forming a continuous pattern that is unbroken across a transition between key surfaces of the body keys and the front face of the body.

System for generation of musical audio composition
A musical audio composition is generated based on a content library. The library is a collection of sequences and instruments. Sequences are partial musical compositions, while instruments are groups of audio samples. Instruments are made of audio data and musical data describing the events recorded in the audio. The process begins by reading the library. A new chain is created. A succession of sequences are selected to create a series of segments in the chain. The events in the selected sequences determine the selection of instruments. Algorithms determine the final arrangements and exact modulations of source audio to target outputs. The source audio are modulated, mixed and output as a stream of audio data. Finally the selections and events of the finished segment are output as metadata. An unlimited number of segments can be fabricated in series, each building and evolving from the preceding segments in the chain.
Network musical instrument
Methods and systems are described that are utilized for remotely controlling a musical instrument. A first digital record comprising musical instrument digital commands from a first electronic instrument for a first item of music is accessed. The first digital record is transmitted over a network using a network interface to a remote, second electronic instrument for playback to a first user. Optionally, video data is streamed to a display device of a user while the first digital record is played back by the second electronic instrument. A key change command is transmitted over the network using the network interface to the second electronic instrument to cause the second electronic instrument to playback the first digital record for the first item of music in accordance with the key change command. The key change command may be transmitted during the streaming of the video data.

Interactive performance direction for a simultaneous multi-tone instrument
A musical instrument performance solution is described. Labels with visual indicators provide a reference to performers such that a proper combination of instrument inputs may be selected at the appropriate time. The visual indicators include colors and/or shapes. The visual indicators may be presented using differently-colored lyrical text, where each color corresponds to a set of notes. Each set of notes may for a chordal group such as a triad. The visual indicators may be associated with labels that are able to be adhered to various instrument inputs such as keys of a keyboard or piano.
