An electronic percussion instrument controller includes a selection input device, a setting input device and a processor. The selection input device is configured to select an instrument which defines a tone that corresponds to a musical performance input device. The setting input device is configured to selectively set a tone lock for the musical performance input device. The processor is programmed to maintain a set tone of the musical performance input device for which the tone lock is set by the setting device.

An electronic device includes at least one processor configured to perform: receiving a selection operation from a user that selects one of a plurality of data types for a first data, the first data having a hierarchical structure, the plurality of data types being different from each other at least in terms of a way the first data is associated with a second data that is described at a different level in the hierarchical structure; and adapting the first data in accordance with the data type selected by the selection operation, and causing the adapted first data to be saved in a memory.

An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a touch screen display, at least one of a speaker and a sound interface, a processor configured to electrically connect to the touch screen display, the speaker, and the sound interface, and a memory configured to electrically connect to the processor. The memory stores instructions for, when executed, causing the processor to display at least one item comprising a musical instrument shape on the touch screen display, receive a touch input through the touch screen display, load sound data corresponding to the at least one item based on the touch input, process the sound data based at least in part on information associated with the touch input, and output the processed sound data through the speaker or the sound interface.

This musical sound processing device includes: a storage part that stores musical sound waveform data; a plurality of reproduction control parts that perform reproduction processes for reproducing a plurality of pieces of musical sound piece data acquired by dividing the musical sound waveform data stored in the storage part on the basis of respectively independent reproduction start timing, reproduction end timing and reproduction modes; and a mixer that mixes a plurality of reproduction sounds to be outputted as the results of the reproduction processes.

The memory stores instructions for, when executed, causing the processor to display at least one item comprising a musical instrument shape on the touch screen display, receive a touch input through the touch screen display, load sound data corresponding to the at least one item based on the touch input, process the sound data based at least in part on information associated with the touch input, and output the processed sound data through the speaker or the sound interface.

A storage device stores a plurality of sets of tone setting information, each of the sets of tone setting information including one or more tone setting parameters. The storage device also stores, for each of the sets of tone setting information, a link ID identifying a link set in association with the set of tone setting information. Processing is performed to cause, based on the link IDs, settings of the tone setting parameters to match between a plurality of sets of the tone setting information having a same link ID. A selected set of the tone setting information is editable in accordance with a user operation. In accordance with the editing, processing is performed to cause a setting of any one of the tone setting parameters in one or more other sets of the tone setting information, having a same link ID as the link ID associated with the edited set of the tone setting information, to match a setting of the tone setting parameter in the edited set of the tone setting information.

A storage device stores a plurality of sets of tone setting information, each of the sets of tone setting information including one or more tone setting parameters. The storage device also stores, for each of the sets of tone setting information, a link ID identifying a link set in association with the set of tone setting information. Processing is performed to cause, based on the link IDs, settings of the tone setting parameters to match between a plurality of sets of the tone setting information having a same link ID. A selected set of the tone setting information is editable in accordance with a user operation. In accordance with the editing, processing is performed to cause a setting of any one of the tone setting parameters in one or more other sets of the tone setting information, having a same link ID as the link ID associated with the edited set of the tone setting information, to match a setting of the tone setting parameter in the edited set of the tone setting information.
