TIME SIGNATURE DETERMINATION DEVICE, METHOD, AND RECORDING MEDIUM
A device to determine a number of beats per bar from a music data includes at least one processor configured to calculate a weighted average beat level waveform from a first beat level waveform obtained for a first frequency band and a second beat level waveform obtained for a second frequency band; calculate autocorrelation on the weighted average beat level waveform by varying an amount of a shift interval for the autocorrelation; determine a plurality of the shift intervals at which correlation values of the autocorrelation are n highest, where n is a positive integer greater than or equal to 2; and determine the number of beats per bar based on the determined plurality of the shift intervals at which the correlation values of the autocorrelation are n highest.
AUTOMATIC MUSIC DOCUMENT DISPLAYING ON PERFORMING MUSIC
A user interface presents structural musical information in a score in a way where both the start and the end points of each jump in the score are visible simultaneously. Each jump is presented in a manner that allows the user to select during performance, which one of different alternatives to choose, when approaching a decision point like a repeat in the song.
MUSIC RECORDING AND COLLABORATION PLATFORM
Methods, systems and non-transitory computer-readable mediums for remote audio project collaboration. The method includes generating a first version of an audio project file including a reference track. The method also includes receiving a first audio track from a first user computing device. The first audio track is synced to the reference track. The method further includes generating a second version of the audio project file by adding the first audio track to the audio project file. The method also includes receiving a second audio track from a second user computing device. The second audio track is synced to the reference track. The second user computing device is remotely located from the first user computing device. The method further includes generating a third version of the audio project file by adding the second audio track to the audio project file.
METHOD, INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS AND PERFORMANCE EVALUATION SYSTEM
There is provided a method for a computer to perform evaluating rapid chord playing and/or tonality based on performance actions of a performance; and instructing, during the performance, an outputter to output a reaction sound corresponding to the evaluation.
Systems and methods for audio interpretation of media data
A system and method for providing acoustic output is disclosed, the system comprising a communication device, a processor coupled to the communication device, and a memory coupled to the processor. The processor receives multimedia data associated with a multimedia output stream, extracts audio data based on the multimedia data, and generates a rhythmic data set including time-series acoustic characteristic data based on the extracted audio data. A sequence of visual elements is generated based on the time-series acoustic characteristic data and associated with the respective visual elements in the sequence of visual elements with the multimedia data. The multimedia data for visually displaying the acoustic characteristic data concurrently with the multimedia stream is transmitted to a multimedia output device.
Techniques for analyzing multi-track audio files
Techniques are provided for implementing multi-track audio analysis. In some instances, a plurality of audio tracks are received and combined into a single audio file. A collection of audio file characteristics are extracted from the single audio file. In some examples, the collection of audio file characteristics are associated with of the plurality of audio tracks and the single audio file. Audio characteristic edits are received for revising the collection of audio file characteristics. Metadata associated with each of the plurality of audio tracks and for the single audio file are updated based at least in part on the audio characteristic edits.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROVIDING AUDIO-FILE LOOP-PLAYBACK FUNCTIONALITY
Systems and methods for providing audio-file loop-playback functionality are provided. The system includes a processor that performs a method including setting a playback loop start-point based on a first selection of a button; setting a loop end-point, associating a loop with an audio file, and entering into the loop based on a second selection of the button; and exiting the loop based on a third selection of the button. Associating the loop with the audio file includes adding metadata to the audio file. The metadata associates the loop with a button. The method includes reentering the loop based on a fourth selection of the button and exiting the loop based on a fifth selection of the button.

APPARATUS, METHOD, AND COMPUTER-READABLE MEDIUM FOR CUE POINT GENERATION
An apparatus, method, and computer-readable storage medium that generate at least a cue point in a musical piece. The method includes generating a beat grid representing the musical piece, determining values for the beat grid, the values corresponding to an audio feature of the musical piece, and each value representing an entire duration of each beat in the beat grid of the musical piece, calculating a score for the audio feature at each of a plurality of positions in the beat grid of the musical piece, using some or all of the determined values, and generating the cue point at a particular position of the plurality of positions, based on the calculated scores.
Estimating a tempo metric from an audio bit-stream
The invention relates to estimating tempo information directly from a bitstream encoding audio information, preferably music. Said tempo information is derived from at least one periodicity derived from a detection of at least two onsets included in the audio information. Such onsets are detected via a detection of long to short block transitions (in the bitstream) or/and via a detection of a changing bit allocation (change of cost) regarding encoding/transmitting the exponents of transform coefficients encoded in the bitstream.
