ELECTRONIC DEVICE FOR IMPROVING COOPERATION AMONG A PLURALITY OF MEMBERS
An electronic device 10 that are wirelessly connected to other electronic devices within a range of a limited communication distance, and the device has a controller CNT that configured to determine at least one of whether or not there are a plurality of members who each have an electronic device within a predetermined range and whether or not a plurality of members who each have an electronic device show a same behavior, and to transmit, if it is determined that there are a plurality of members who each have an electronic device within the predetermined range, or that a plurality of members who each have an electronic device show a same behavior, a request to the plurality of electronic devices to generate rhythm signals at a same tempo to encourage improvement in cooperation among the plurality of members.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AUTOMATED REAL-TIME FEEDBACK OF A MUSICAL PERFORMANCE
A music performance feedback tool is described herein that enables a musician to play freely and receive feedback in real-time. The tool tracks the musician as they progress through a piece and returns optimal feedback given an input sequence produced by the musician. The tool enables musicians to practice in a fashion that is most natural and pedagogically correct. The tool provides musicians with annotations indicating what notes in the score they failed to play, erroneously added notes, and the like. The tool further provides the musician with tempo and rhythmic feedback.
TRANSCRIBING VOICED MUSICAL NOTES FOR CREATING, PRACTICING AND SHARING OF MUSICAL HARMONIES
Method for transcription of voiced musical note includes segmenting an electronic audio signal into a plurality of musical note segments, and sampling each note segment to obtain a plurality of audio samples. For each audio sample, an autocorrelation is computed to determine a probability value associated with certain audio frequencies contained within the audio sample. Local maxima are identified in the energy associated with one or more audio frequencies comprising each audio sample and a corrective function applied to reduce the occurrence of octave errors. A true pitch of each note segment is then determined by converting the pitch identification problem to one involving a shortest path through a graph or network of node. Edge weights are computed for a plurality of adjacent nodes i, j comprising the graph, where each node represents one of the musical note segments.
SYSTEM FOR CREATING, PRACTICING AND SHARING OF MUSICAL HARMONIES
Collaboratively creating musical harmonies includes receiving a user selection of a particular harmony. In response to this selection, there is displayed on a display screen of a computing device a plurality of musical note indicators or notes to specify a first harmony part of a musical piece to be performed. Real-time pitch detection is used to determine a pitch of each note which is voiced by a person, and a graphic indication of the actual pitch which is sung is displayed in conjunction with the musical note indicators.
REAL-TIME PITCH DETECTION FOR CREATING, PRACTICING AND SHARING OF MUSICAL HARMONIES
Real-time pitch detection of voiced musical notes involves converting sound waves, produced by a voiced rendition of one or more musical notes, to a time domain electronic audio signal. The electronic audio signal is processed to determine a true pitch of the time domain electronic audio signal. True pitch information is displayed in real-time, concurrent with the voiced rendition of each musical note. A pitch indicator conveys to a user information concerning the true pitch which has been determined. The true pitch is determined by segmenting the electronic audio signal into a plurality of audio signal samples and applying a constant-Q transform. Additional processing steps are applied to reduce pitch detection errors.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR GENERATING DIGITAL SCORE FILE OF SONG, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A method and an information processing apparatus to generate a digital score file of a song are described. The information processing apparatus includes processing circuitry. The processing circuitry is configured to obtain a candidate audio file satisfying a first condition from audio files of unaccompanied singing of the song without instrumental accompaniment. The processing circuitry is configured to divide the candidate audio file into valid audio segments based on timing information of the song, and extract pieces of music note information from the valid audio segments. Each of the pieces of music note information includes at least one data set of a music note in the song. The data set includes an onset time, a duration, and a music note value of the music note. The processing circuitry is configured to generate the digital score file based on the pieces of music note information.
ELECTRONIC MUSICAL SCORE APPARATUS
An electronic musical score apparatus 1 includes display units D1, D2 connected to each other to be openable and closeable, and can convert a writing made on display portions 11, 12 by a user into annotation data 1, associated with musical score page data but being manageable separately from the musical score page data, and store the annotation data 1. When an image of the associated musical score page data is displayed together with an image of the annotation data 1 on the display portions 11, 12 and then the user rewrites the annotation data 1, the electronic musical score apparatus 1 can provide a write history for the annotation data 1 by storing the annotation data 1 before the rewriting as first-generation annotation data 1 and storing the annotation data 1 after the rewriting as second-generation annotation data 1.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR RECORDING AND TRANSCRIBING MUSIC
A system for recording and transcribing music can comprise a sound-capturing device, a control device, memory, and a communication module. A sound-capturing device can record music. The control device can be configured to activate the sound-capturing device. Memory can be communicatively coupled to the sound-capturing device. The memory can be configured to store a recording of the music from the music instrument. A sound-capturing device, control device, and memory can be arranged and configured to couple to a music instrument. A communication module can be communicatively coupled to the memory, wherein the communication module is arranged and configured to wirelessly transmit data.
Method for providing a melody recording based on user humming melody and apparatus for the same
Provided is a method of providing a melody recording based on a user humming melody in a user device. The method includes displaying a record button to be used to start recording of a humming melody of a user in response to an input of the user, and measuring a pitch of a sound that changes over time based on the humming melody of the user, and displaying a change in the pitch in real time. A region in which the change in the pitch is displayed includes at least a portion of a left region of a screen of the user device.
Musical score generator
A method of generating a musical score file for one or more target musical instruments with a score generation component based on input audio data. The score generation component finds candidate musical notes within the input audio data using a frequency analysis to identify segments that share substantially the same audio frequency, and finds a best match for those candidate musical notes in audio data associated with target musical instruments in a sound database. Note, chord, and/or rhythm information is saved to a musical score file along with a page description header describing print settings. The generated musical score file can then be printed as sheet music or audibly played back over speakers.
