SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SCORE AND SCREENPLAY BASED AUDIO AND VIDEO EDITING
According to embodiments of the present disclosure, systems, methods, and computer program products for audio- and video-editing are provided. A reference file comprising a visual representation (e.g., musical score) of a final video/audio product is read and displayed to a user. A plurality of sections (e.g., measures) and a plurality of symbols (e.g., notes) are determined. A plurality of audio/video recordings are read where each recording corresponding to at least a portion of the visual representation. For each of the plurality of sections, a corresponding segment of at least one of the plurality of audio/video recordings is determined. First selections of a section of the plurality of sections are received from the user. For each of the first selections, a listing of the plurality of audio/video recordings in which at least a portion of the selected section occurs is displayed to the user. For each of the first selections, a second selection of an audio/video recording from the listing is received from the user thereby linking the selected section to the corresponding segment of the selected audio/video recording. An audio/video file is generated by combining each of the linked segments.
MUSIC VISUALIZATION BY TRANSLATING MUSIC CUES TO VISUAL CUES
A method and system for visualizing music using a perceptually conformal translation system are provided. A music source file is input into a processor configured to carry out a series of steps on music perception audio cues identified within the music, to translate those cues into visual cues, with rules for spatial arrangement, to ultimately generate a visual representation of the music on a display device, time synchronized with the audio music. The translation system produces an enhanced experience of music perception for the user listening to the music while viewing the display. The rules for spatial arrangement may allocate visual cues translated from music source components and music representation components to different parts of the display. The effect of that is to use spatial information to enhance music perception. The display may be enhanced by including video of the music performance or a music video associated with that performance.
SOUND TRANSMISSION METHOD AND COMMUNICATION DEVICE THEREOF
A sound transmission method is applied to a communication device and includes utilizing an operation processor of the communication device to decompose an audio signal into at least one audio track having a specific sound element, utilizing the operation processor to transform the at least one audio track into a symbolic text, and utilizing a transceiver of the communication device to transmit the symbolic text.
