DJ apparatus including an integrated removable fader component
An apparatus is provided for integrating a removable fader component with an audio component while also enabling the fader component to be connected with one or more external audio components and/or to function as a standalone fader when removed from the apparatus. Embodiments include an audio component configured to produce a first audio signal; a removable fader component configured with a first connection point for connectivity to the audio component and a second connection point for connectivity to an external audio component that produces a second audio signal, wherein a hardware component, a software component, or a combination thereof for performing a mixing of the first audio signal and the second audio signal is contained within the removable fader component; and a receptacle integrated into the apparatus, wherein the receptacle is configured to hold the removable fader component to the apparatus.
Systems and methods for generating a graphical representation of audio signal data during time compression or expansion
Systems and methods for generating a graphical representation of audio signal data during time compression or expansion are provided. The system may include a processor that performs a method including displaying a waveform during audio-signal playback at a first speed by scrolling the waveform from aright portion of a display to a left portion of the display. The method includes receiving a command to increase or decrease the audio-signal playback speed and horizontally expanding or horizontally contracting the waveform in response to receiving the command to increase or decrease the audio-signal playback speed.
Method and system for AI controlled loop based song construction
According to an embodiment, there is provided a system and method for automatic AI controlled loop based song construction. It provides and benefits from a machine learning AI in a audio loop selection engine for the generation of a song structure and for the selection of fitting audio loops from a database of audio loops. In one embodiment, the instant method provides a music generation process that utilizes an AI system that has been trained and validated on a music item database to complete the creation of a music item given an incomplete song that was started but not finished by a user.
Musical composition file generation and management system
A system and method to identify a digital representation of a first musical composition including a set of musical blocks. A set of parameters associated with source content are identified. In accordance with one or more rules, one or more of the set of musical blocks of the first musical composition are modified based on the set of parameters to generate a derivative musical composition. An audio file including the derivative musical composition is generated.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PROCESSING AUDIO STEMS
A method and system for processing an audio stem/loop, including dividing a stem into a plurality of stem slices, classifying each of the plurality of stem slices into at least a first group or a second group and applying a stem effect, that includes replacing at least one stem slice with an all-zero stem slice, replacing at least one stem slice belonging to the first group or the second group with a stem slice belonging to the first group or the second group.
Method and device for processing, playing and/or visualizing audio data, preferably based on AI, in particular decomposing and recombining of audio data in real-time
The present invention relates to a method for processing and playing audio data comprising the steps of receiving mixed input data and playing recombined output data. Furthermore, the invention relates to a device for processing and playing audio data, preferably DJ equipment, comprising an audio input unit for receiving a mixed input signal, a recombination unit and a playing unit for playing recombined output data. In addition, the present invention relates to a method and a device for representing audio data, i.e. on a display.
Music technique responsible for versioning
Systems and methods for versioning audio elements used in generation of music are provided. An example method includes receiving musical format data associated with a plurality of audio elements of a melody; determining, based on the musical format data, harmonic and melodic characteristics of each of the plurality of audio elements; matching the harmonic and melodic characteristics to a plurality of chord progressions using predetermined music theory rules, counterpoint rules, and rhythm matching rules; deriving, based on the matching and predetermined melodic movement rules, from the plurality of chord progressions, melodic movement characteristics applicable to using in versioning; and creating, based on the predetermined music theory rules and the melodic movement characteristics, versions of the audio elements that match the chord progressions.
Music shaper
A music composition, editing, and playback system and method provides a user interface design based on geometric interpretation of music theory replacing traditional modern music notation with geometric shapes including chords represented by polygons that are colored with colors or hues.
Audio source separation processing pipeline systems and methods
Systems and methods for audio source separation include receiving a single-track audio input sample having an unknown mixture of audio signals generated from a plurality of audio sources, and separating one or more of the audio sources from the single-track audio input sample using a sequential audio source separation model. Separating one or more of the audio sources may include defining a processing recipe comprising a plurality of source separation processes configured to receive an audio input mixture and output one or more separated source signals and a remaining complement signal mixture, and processing the single-track audio input sample in accordance with the processing recipe to generate a plurality of audio stems separated from the unknown mixture of audio signals.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DECOMPOSING, RECOMBINING AND PLAYING AUDIO DATA
A system processes mixed input data using a neural network trained to separate audio data of predetermined timbres from mixed audio data and to obtain a group of decomposed tracks comprising at least first, second, and third decomposed audio tracks representing audio signals of first, second, and third predetermined timbres, respectively. The system reads a control input representing a setting of a first volume level and of a second volume level. The system recombines at least a first selected track and a second selected track selected from the group of decomposed tracks to generate a first recombined track. The system recombines the first recombined track at the first volume level with at least a third track selected from the group of decomposed tracks, at the second volume level, to obtain a second recombined track. The system plays the audio data based on the second recombined track.
