An aerosol-generator for an aerosol-generating device is provided, the aerosol-generator including: a surface acoustic wave atomiser including a substrate including an active surface defining at least one atomisation region, and at least one transducer positioned on the active surface to generate surface acoustic waves on the active surface; and a supply element arranged to supply a liquid aerosol-forming substrate to the atomisation region, the supply element including a channel extending through the substrate between an inlet to receive a supply of the liquid aerosol-forming substrate and an outlet positioned within the atomisation region of the active surface, in which the channel has at least one of a cross-sectional area that varies in a direction from the inlet to the outlet and a portion that extends in a non-perpendicular direction with respect to the active surface. An aerosol-generating device including the aerosol-generator is also provided.

A method of generating aerosol from an aerosol generating article which includes portions of aerosol generating material having different compositions from one another. The method includes heating a first aerosol generating material including a first constituent to generate aerosol from the first aerosol generating material; heating a second aerosol generating material including a second constituent different from the first constituent to generate aerosol from the second aerosol generating material, wherein heating the first aerosol generating material and heating the second aerosol generating material occurs at substantially the same time.

A device for an electronic aerosol provision system that includes an indicator for showing power level. The device comprises: a battery for providing electrical power to an aerosol generating component in the system; an indicator light configured to emit a light signal for a signal period that indicates a level of electrical power available from the battery; and a controller configured to activate the indicator light to emit the light signal after detecting that a puff period on the system has been completed.

An aerosol generating device includes a cavity into which a cigarette is inserted, a light source that emits light to the cigarette inserted in the cavity, a reuse detection sensor that receives light reflected from the cigarette, a heater that heats the cigarette inserted into the cavity, and a controller, and the controller determines whether or not to operate the heater based on a rate of increase or decrease of a sensing value received from the reuse detection sensor.

A nebulizer device for administering aerosol cannabinoid mixtures to a user includes a mouthpiece, a first reservoir, a second reservoir, and a nebulizer device. The nebulizer module is configured to receive a first dosage of the first liquid from the first reservoir and a second dosage of a second liquid from the second reservoir. The nebulizer module is also configured to transform the first liquid into an inhalant and the second liquid into an aerosol that are provided to the user through the mouthpiece. The device further includes a dosage module configured to independently control the delivery of the first liquid and the second liquid to the nebulizer module to set a ratio between the first dosage of the first liquid and the second dosage of the second liquid. The dosage module thereby controls a composition of an aerosol cannabinoid mixture administered to the user.
