Apparatus for controlling lighting behavior of a plurality of lighting elements and a method therefor
There is provided an apparatus configured to control a plurality of light emitting elements so that the light emitting elements display a lighting behavior based on audio output which is based on an audio file. The apparatus can include a control portion and a choreography portion. The control portion is operable to generate an instruction sequence which can be used to control the lighting behavior of the light emitting elements, the instruction sequence can include a plurality of lighting instructions. The choreography portion is operable to associate at least one lighting instruction from the plurality of lighting instructions with at least one portion of the audio file.
Playback device, playback method, and storage medium
A playback device includes a first buffer and a second buffer, each having storage regions, and a processing unit. The processing unit performs: a storage process that causes input audio data to be stored in the storage regions of the first buffer in order; a first playback process that causes the stored audio data to be played back in the order in which the audio data was stored; a designation process that designates, in response to a user input, at least one of the plurality of storage regions of the first buffer in which the audio data is stored; a copy process that causes the audio data stored in the designated storage region of the first buffer to be copied to the second buffer; and a second playback process that causes the audio data copied to the second buffer to be repeatedly played back.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PACING REPETITIVE MOTION ACTIVITIES
A method for transferring data between a storage and playback device and a server containing at least one audio file having information for producing a tempo that is sensible to at least one user as the at least one user performs a repetitive motion activity, the storage and playback device being capable of storing and playing the information in the audio file, the method comprising, at the data storage and playback device, or at a combination of the server and the data storage and playback device: receiving a request to substantially match at least one audio file based on its beats per minute for outputting on the storage and payback device; identifying a metadata tempo tag for each designated audio file, each tempo tag indicating the tempo of the audio file; and causing to be delivered to, or providing to, the storage and playback device the audio file.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR RECOGNIZING A BEAT WITH A HEARING AID
A method for recognizing a beat for a hearing system includes converting an acoustic input signal into an electrical input signal in an input transducer. The electrical input signal is processed into an electrical output signal in a signal processing unit. The electrical output signal is converted into an output signal in an output transducer. A beat is recognized by analyzing the electrical input signal and the recognized beat is perceivably output to a hearing system user. A corresponding hearing system for recognizing a beat in the input signal and outputting the recognized beat in a perceivable manner is also provided.
Bi-directional music synchronization using haptic devices
Systems and methods may provide for capturing one or more inbound wireless transmissions and identifying a remote user movement based on at least one of the one or more inbound wireless transmissions. Additionally, a local haptic output may be generated, by an actuator, based on the remote user movement. In one example, the actuator is a piezoelectric actuator.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND PROGRAM
There is provided an information processing apparatus including a decision unit configured to decide, in accordance with playback target content, a processing pattern of processing to be executed in association with playback of the content, from among a plurality of processing patterns.
AUDIO REPRODUCTION DEVICE
Provided is a sound reproduction device including: speakers; light emitting elements provided to a part of each of the speakers, or in a vicinity of each of the speakers; a detecting section configured to detect a beat of an audio signal reproduced by the speakers, and output a detection signal corresponding to the beat; and a light emission control signal outputting section configured to output a light emission control signal for controlling a light emission mode of the light emitting elements according to the detection signal. The light emission control signal outputting section outputs a first light emission control signal according to the detection signal, and outputs a second light emission control signal when a period in which the beat is not detected exceeds a set period, the second light emission control signal being for controlling the light emitting elements to perform a predetermined light emission mode.
Visual metronome application
A visual metronome for use with a drum kit, including circuitry for generating a succession of light signals according to a selected flashing pattern defined by frequency and duration. A circuit splitter is in operative communication with the metronome for multiplying the light signals. A plurality of individual light emitting components are in operative communication with the circuit splitter, the light emitting components being mounted to individual components associated with the drum kit to simultaneously display the flashing pattern corresponding to the multiplied light output signals at locations visible to a user of the drum kit. A plurality of cables extend between the circuit splitter and respective light emitting components. The light emitting components can each further include a different color in order to provide enhanced visibility in various stage lighting situations. A power supply communicates the metronome, including any of a battery or a 9V power outlet plug.
