Rhythm-based musical game for generative group composition
A musical game system and associated methods configured to allow for unguided, free-form group-based musical expressivity during generation of a collaborative digital music track (or song). The musical game system is designed to provide a hardware and software pipeline that functions to record, quantize, and loop multiple (e.g., 1 to 15 or more) users' inputs (e.g., via a piezoelectric MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) controllers or triggered instruments or other user input devices) in a dynamic playback space. The musical game system further functions to provide volume attenuation and localization of playback to enable participants to express themselves with their user inputs with complete agency while simultaneously adding to an overarching, collaborative musical composition generated using their user inputs and other participants' user inputs. The collaborative musical composition is created by the system so as to maintain coherence and tonality regardless of the user inputs the system receives and processes.
RECORD BOOTH SESSIONS NETWORK
A wireless record booth capable of producing a live video and/or audio stream as if made in a vintage record booth. A concatenated video stream is formed by a record booth sessions recorded in each of a plurality of networked listening/watching record booths. Video and audio filters emulate vintage record booth images and sounds. Record booth sessions are streamed live for other networked record booths to listen and/or watch, and passively and actively rated to dynamically create a concatenated video stream of the most preferred record booth sessions.
Non-transitory storage medium encoded with computer readable music game program with which, in playing multiplayer game through communication, uncomfortableness due to influence such as delay in communication is suppressed and operation is performed in more real-time performance environment, game device, method of controlling game device, and game system
A non-transitory storage medium encoded with a computer readable music game program, the music game program causing the one or more processors to perform including a communication unit configured to obtain from another game device through communication, data relating to operation input to another game device, a presentation data generation unit configured to generate presentation data in accordance with the operation input to the game device, an estimated presentation data generation unit configured to estimate, based on data relating to the operation input to another game device for a first portion of the music data obtained through the communication unit, presentation in accordance with the operation input to another game device for a second portion of the music data and generate estimated presentation data representing the presentation, and a game processing unit configured to perform the game process based on the presentation data and the estimated presentation data.
MUSICAL NOTATION, SYSTEM, AND METHODS
In one aspect, provided herein is a device for notating a musical composition. The device, in various implementations, is structured so as to be less laborious to notate, easier to read, and more simple to employ in notating, reading, and/or playing the music of a given composition to be composed and/or played. Accordingly, in its most basic form, the device herein disclosed includes a template, upon which template one or more symbols may be notated, where such notation is configured in a manner that more closely relates the note to be played with the mechanical action needed to be performed so as to play that note, such as on an instrument to be or being played.
Generating a stream comprising synchronized content
A method of generating a stream comprising synchronized interactive content is described. The method comprises the steps of: transmitting a first stream from a studio to a terminal or a terminal system of a first user and to a buffer; transmitting in response to the first stream a second stream to a mixer connected to the buffer, the second stream comprising content generated in reaction to the content of the first stream; providing the mixer with a temporal relation between the packets in the first and second stream; generating a first output stream comprising a substantially synchronized content by mixing packets in second stream with packets of the buffered first stream on the basis of the temporal relation.
