The storage media may be configured to store a set of instructions for modifying a music score for a user based on a performance level of the user. The at least one processor may be configured to communicate with the one or more storage media. When executing the set of instructions, the processor is directed to determine a user performance level of a user and provide a modified music score for the user based on the user performance level. The sensors may be configured to sense a motion of at least one key of the keys and generate a key signal accordingly. The display may be configured to display the modified music score.

Instrument game system and method

A game system and method that uses an instrument as an input encourages a user to play along with the game's soundtrack on an instrument (e.g. guitar, bass, etc.). The game cues the player to play notes and/or chords on the instrument at an appropriate time and then data is collected from the instrument via a connection between the instrument and the apparatus running the game. The game then scores the user based on note/chord and timing information it receives.

In an illustrative example, a musician may be learning to play the musical score. The musical score may be modelled, for example, based on pitch, volume, and rhythm, permitting comparison to the captured performance of the musical score. In some examples, the musical score degree of difficulty may be adapted based on the captured performance evaluation. Some embodiments may generate musical scores based on the captured performance evaluation. Various examples may advantageously provide corrective instruction based on the degree of difficulty and the captured performance evaluation.
