Keyboard device
A keyboard device is provided, and includes multiple keys and multiple hinges. Each of the keys is supported by a support member. Each of the hinges has: a pair of base parts, joined to the support member and separated from each other with a predetermined gap therebetween in a width direction of the keys, and a connection part, connecting the pair of base parts and each of the keys to each other in a longitudinal direction of the keys. A dimension of the connection part in the longitudinal direction of the keys is set to be larger than dimensions of the base parts in the width direction of the keys.
Systems and methods for calibrating a musical device
The present disclosure relates to a method and system for calibrating a musical device. In some embodiments, a method for calibrating a musical device includes: energizing an actuator to actuate a key using a force corresponding to a first intensity level; obtaining, from a sensor, a first sensor signal representing motion information of the key corresponding to application of the force; and calibrating the musical device based on the first sensor signal.
SELECTIVE TONE SHIFTING DEVICE
This invention is directed to a tone shifting device that includes an analog to digital (A/D) converter configured to receive an audio output from a musical instrument to convert it into a digital signal and to pass it to a computing unit; an input device configured to allow a player to select at least one note to be shifted in real time 10 during playing a musical instrument; a computing unit configured to receive the input signal from the A/D converter and a second input from the input device and to shift a selected note/s to a lower/higher tone in real time during playing; a digital to analog (D/A) converter configured to receive the signals from the computing unit and convert them to analog form; and an amplifier configured to receive the analog 15 signal from said D/A converted and play the played modified music through a loudspeaker of the amplifier. The tone shifting device allow selective shifting of a selected musical note in real time during playing.
Children's toys with capacitive touch interactivity
A children's toy with capacitive touch interactivity. The children's toy generally includes a user input overlay panel and one or more capacitive touch sensors. The overlay panel may be formed from a capacitive touch conductive natural organic material such as wood. The toy can be shaped and ornamented to resemble a musical instrument and configured to play music in response to user input applied to the user input overlay panel and sensed by the capacitive touch sensors.
KEYBOARD INSTRUMENT
An electronic portable keyboard instrument includes: a lower casing that includes a plurality of supporting members that support the fulcrums of a plurality of hammers, and a plurality of reinforcing members arranged in the first direction, each reinforcing member having a shape of rib that is erected upward from the lower casing and that is running in a length direction of the keys, wherein each of the plurality of supporting members sandwiches, from sides in the first direction, the corresponding hammer at the fulcrum so as to restrict movement of the hammer in the first direction, and wherein each of the reinforcing members is disposed in a gap between adjacent hammers, and a portion of the reinforcing members that corresponds to the weights of the adjacent hammers in position is lower than any other portions of the reinforcing member to avoid contacting the weights of the adjacent hammers.
EFFECT ADDING APPARATUS, METHOD, AND ELECTRONIC MUSICAL INSTRUMENT
An effect adding apparatus includes: at least one first operation element on which a first user operation is performed; a plurality of second operation elements on which a second user operation is performed after the first user operation; and at least one processor, in which the at least one processor determines two or more effects including at least a first effect and a second effect, from a plurality of effects in which each of the effects is associated with a plurality of parameters, based on the first user operation on the at least one first operation element, and determines a parameter associated with each of the plurality of second operation elements, based on data indicating significance of each of a plurality of first parameters associated with the first effect determined and data indicating significance of each of a plurality of second parameters associated with the second effect determined.
Keyboard apparatus
A keyboard apparatus includes: a frame; keys each disposed pivotably with respect to the frame; pivot members each including: a support member disposed pivotably about a pivot shaft; and a structure connected to the support member at a position spaced apart from the pivot shaft, the structure having a specific gravity that is greater than that of the support member. A hole portion is formed in each of a first structure and a second structure, each of which is the structure of a corresponding one of a first pivot member and a second pivot member of at least two of the pivot members, such that a mass of the first structure and a mass of the second structure are different from each other. The hole portion of the first structure and the hole portion of the second structure are different from each other in shape.
Toys with capacitive touch features
A children's toy with capacitive touch interactivity. The children's toy generally includes a user input overlay panel and one or more capacitive touch sensors. The overlay panel may be formed from a capacitive touch conductive natural organic material such as wood. The toy can be shaped and ornamented to resemble a musical instrument, and configured to play music in response to user input applied to the user input overlay panel and sensed by the capacitive touch sensors.
Switching device for electronic musical instrument
Provided is a switching device for an electronic musical instrument, comprising: a plurality of first electrodes that are adjacently arranged; a second electrode arranged between a pair of the plurality of first electrodes, and insulated from the plurality of first electrodes by a plurality of spaces; a rotatable actuator; and a conductive member configured to electrically connect the first electrodes and the second electrode according to rotation of the actuator. The plurality of spaces extend longitudinally in a first direction. The first direction is a direction between a rotational shaft direction of the actuator and a direction orthogonal to the rotational shaft direction.
Sound signal generation device, keyboard instrument, and sound signal generation method
A sound signal generation device according to one embodiment includes a memory storing instructions, and a processor that implements the instructions and execute a plurality of tasks, including a signal generation task that generates a sound signal based on first operation data corresponding to an operation to a key, and an attenuation control task that controls an attenuation velocity of the sound signal to one of a first velocity or a second velocity that is faster than the first velocity, based on the first operation data, and second operation data corresponding to an operation to a pedal, wherein the attenuation control task varies a value of the second velocity based on an operation velocity of the key included in the first operation data to control the attenuation velocity of the sound signal to the second velocity.
