ELECTRONIC WIND INSTRUMENT, MUSICAL SOUND GENERATION DEVICE, MUSICAL SOUND GENERATION METHOD AND STORAGE MEDIUM STORING PROGRAM
A musical sound generation device including a blowing pressure sensor which detects a blowing pressure, a key switch which specifies a sound pitch of a musical sound, a first sound source which outputs a first signal corresponding to an exhalation sound, a second sound source which outputs a second signal corresponding to the musical sound having the sound pitch specified by the key switch, and a processor which starts output of the first signal by the first sound source on basis of an operation performed on the key switch, starts output of the second signal by the second sound source on basis of the blowing pressure, and controls a sound volume when the exhalation sound resulting from the first signal is emitted and a sound volume when the musical sound resulting from the second signal is emitted, on basis of the blowing pressure.
TRANSDUCER APPARATUS FOR AN EDGE-BLOWN AEROPHONE AND AN EDGE-BLOWN AEROPHONE HAVING THE TRANSDUCER APPARATUS
This disclosure provides a transducer apparatus for an edge-blown aerophone, the edge-blown aerophone having an aerophone embouchure hole. An aerophone speaker delivers sound to a resonant chamber of the aerophone via the aerophone embouchure hole. An aerophone microphone receives, via the aerophone embouchure hole, sound in the resonant chamber. A housing provides a lip plate with a housing embouchure hole independent and separate from the aerophone embouchure hole. Breath sensors sense breath applied across the housing embouchure hole. An electronic processor, connected to the speaker, receives signals from the microphone and the breath sensors. The breath sensors provide signals indicative of breath strength. The electronic processor generates an excitation signal which is delivered as an acoustic excitation signal to the resonant chamber by the aerophone speaker. The electronic processor uses the signals it receives to determine a desired musical note which a player of the aerophone wishes to play.
Transducer apparatus for a labrosone and a labrosone having the transducer apparatus
A transducer apparatus for a labrosone is disclosed, the labrosone having a labrosone resonant chamber. A labrosone speaker delivers a sound signal to the labrosone resonant chamber. A labrosone microphone receives a resultant sound from the labrosone resonant chamber. A mouthpiece microphone receives sound from a labrosone mouthpiece. An electronic processor is connected to the labrosone speaker, and receives signals from the labrosone microphone and the mouthpiece microphone. The electronic processor generates an excitation signal which is delivered as an acoustic excitation signal to the labrosone resonant chamber by the labrosone speaker. The electronic processor uses the signals from the labrosone microphone and the mouthpiece microphone to determine a desired musical note which a player of the labrosone wishes to play. The electronic processor then synthesizes and outputs the desired musical note to an output device, whereby the musical note is played audibly and/or displayed visually to the player.
Enhanced electronic musical wind instrument
A musical instrument includes a hollow body with an air inlet to blow air into the body, and an air outlet to allow the air to exit the body. A number of holes are provided which are suitable to be closed by a player. A sensor group includes proximity sensors located near the holes to detect if the holes are closed or open. One control unit is electrically connected to the sensor group, and power supply unit is connected to the sensor group and the control unit to power up the sensor group and the control unit.
Programmable electronic harmonica having bifurcated air channels
A wind instrument such as a harmonica has a mouthpiece with one or more air channels, an electric power source, and a means for generating an electrical output signal from strain gages exposed to airflow in the channels. First and second strain gages having variable flow-induced resistance are bonded to a flexible substrate and suspended within an air channel, which includes a divider shelf for directing a first airflow to the first strain gage and a second airflow to the second strain gage. Complimentary strain gages are mounted to an opposite side of the substrate for inverse flexure to enable temperature correction for the first and second strain gages. When a user forces air through a channel in a direction biased to one side of the divider shelf a difference signal is generated by the first and second strain gages and detected by comparing their outputs. The difference signal can be used to adjust a variable control signal in applications such as volume control, dimming lights, or bending notes generated by the harmonica.
MOBILE SYSTEM ALLOWING ADAPTATION OF THE RUNNER'S CADENCE
A mobile music listening device synchronizing in a personalized way music and movement, and dedicated to improving the kinematics of the runner. Thanks to inertial units connected to a smartphone, the runner's steps are detected in real time by the mobile application. A dedicated algorithm adapts the pulsation of the musical excerpts in such a way as to bring the runner to a suitable cadence, capable of preventing injuries.
A method for the synchronization of the rhythmic stimulation with the biological variability using a Kuramoto model characterized in that phase oscillator with a coupling term from the movement dynamics with parameters of, coupling strength, maximum and minimum frequencies for a fraction of the unmodified song frequency, maximum difference between the tempo and target frequency, Target the target frequency.
Apparatus for sound modulation
The present disclosure is hands-free sound modulation apparatus. The hands-free sound modulation apparatus includes one more monophonic and polyphonic sound modulation assemblies for music creation, gaming, medical rehabilitation, language training, and speech enhancement. The hands-free sound modulation apparatus can be paired with a smartphone device, musical instrument, and a network of hands-free sound modulation apparatuses.
Sensor and controller for wind instruments
This invention involves the field of tactile control of electronic devices using a sensor that transduces both air pressure and device positional orientation into a set of digitally encoded commands. The invention involves using as input the physical action taken on a musical instrument and generating control information using that input.
BIOMETRIC-MUSIC INTERACTION METHODS AND SYSTEMS
A system and method for the automatic, procedural generation of musical content in relation to biometric data. The systems and methods use a user's device, such as a cell phone to capture image data of a body part, and derive a biometric signal from the image data. The biometric signal includes biometric parameters, which are used by a music generation engine to generate music. The music generation can also be based on user-specific data and quality data related to the biometric detection process.
