Signal processing apparatus and signal processing method
Provided is a signal processing device including a control unit that performs a sound signal process on a waveform of a signal generated on a basis of movement of an object, and cause sound corresponding to a signal generated on a basis of the sound signal process to be output within a predetermined period of time. The signal processing device is capable of aurally-exaggerating movement of an object itself and providing the aurally-exaggerated movement of the object by performing a sound signal process on a waveform of a signal generated on the basis of the movement of the object.
Cyber reality device including gaming based on a plurality of musical programs
A system enabling the performance of sensory stimulating content including music and video using gaming in a cyber reality environment, such as using a virtual reality headset. This disclosure includes a system and method through which a performer can virtually trigger and control a presentation of pre-packaged sensory stimulating content including musical programs through gaming. A theme for the performer is that the pre-packaged sensory stimulating content is preferably chosen such that, even where the performer is a novice, the sensory stimulating data is presented in a pleasing and sympathetic manner and scoring is provided as a function of the performer's ability to provide a gesture in association with a displayed virtual trigger.
Methods and apparatus to use predicted actions in virtual reality environments
Methods and apparatus to use predicted actions in VR environments are disclosed. An example method includes predicting a predicted time of a predicted virtual contact of a virtual reality controller with a virtual object, determining, based on at least one parameter of the predicted virtual contact, a characteristic of a virtual output the object would make in response to the virtual contact, and initiating producing the virtual output before the predicted time of the virtual contact of the controller with the virtual object.
ROLE SIMULATION METHOD AND TERMINAL APPARATUS IN VR SCENE
A role simulation method and a terminal apparatus in a VR scene are provided. The role simulation method in the VR scene includes: obtaining a role obtaining instruction triggered by a hand model in the VR scene, movement of the hand model in the VR scene being controlled by an interaction controller; determining a virtual role from the VR scene according to the role obtaining instruction; dynamically adjusting virtual props in the VR scene according to a music file played in the VR scene; displaying the virtual role in the VR scene through a VR display, and displaying the virtual props that are dynamically adjusted.
Integrated Musical Instrument Systems
A system suitable for use as a musical instrument system is provided. The system includes at least one sensor. The system also includes at least one control surface configured to interface with the at least one sensor. Further, the system includes at least one controller configured to interface with the at least one sensor. Additionally, the system includes at least one program module configured to interface with the at least one sensor. The system includes a base. The at least one sensor and the at least one control surface are positionable on the base. The system also includes at least one data processor configured to interface with the at least one sensor, the at least one control surface, and the at least one program module arranged to function as a musical instrument system.
ONE-SIZE-FITS-ALL DATA GLOVE
Assemblies and techniques are described herein for use with a data glove. The data glove includes sensors configured to translate movement and forces associated with a human hand to the digital domain.
INTERACTIVE PERCUSSIVE DEVICE FOR ACOUSTIC APPLICATIONS
Percussive interactive device characterized in that it is composed of an external polyhedric case of deformable material and of an internal case housing an electronic device, whose purpose is to detect external forces applied on said device and to transmit the data collected, once converted into electronic data for audio applications, to an external device used to process and emit sound.
AUGMENTED REALITY SYSTEM AND METHOD
Augmented reality is used to visualize virtual objects and their relationship such as musical notes or groups of musical notes using for example a display proximate a user's eyes, for example where images in the display appear to be in a space in front of or around the user, for example where the images in the display are for manipulation by an augmented reality controller, for example where the augmented reality controller is held by the user.
Systems and Methods for Providing Virtual Reality Musical Experiences
Systems and methods for virtual reality musical experiences are disclosed herein. An example method includes generating a virtual reality avatar of a musician and a virtual reality guitar, receiving input from a first controller that is indicative of a neck hand position of the first controller relative to a virtual neck of the virtual reality guitar, as well as input from a second controller that is indicative of a strumming hand movement performed using the second controller, adjusting a neck hand position of the virtual reality avatar, within a virtual reality display, in response to the neck hand position of the first controller in real-time and a strumming hand action of the virtual reality avatar, within the virtual reality display, in response to the strumming hand action of the second controller in real-time.
