A display on the handle may report the temperature of the food. Embodiments may comprise a voice synthesis unit and sound transducer to allow the whisk to audibly report the monitored temperature. Embodiments may comprise a wireless transceiver that allows the whisk to report the monitored temperature to an earpiece worn by a cook at a remote location, such as at another kitchen work area.

An apparatus for agitating liquid foodstuff, comprising a whisk that includes a magnetic rotor of a brushless electromotor assembly, and a main body including a liquid foodstuff container in which the whisk is receivable such that it is rotatable around a rotation axis thereof, and a stator of the electromotor assembly. The stator is configured to electromagnetically drive the rotor in rotation, and includes at least one magnetic sensor configured to provide a signal that reflects positional changes of the magnetic rotor relative to the magnetic sensor. The main body also includes a controller configured to detect an initial, manually effected rotational movement of the whisk around its rotation axis from the signal of the magnetic sensor, and, once such initial movement of the whisk is detected, to operate the apparatus independent of said initial, movement.
Blender and eggbeater
A blender comprises a base, a blending mechanism and a fixing mechanism. The blending mechanism is formed by the encirclement of a plurality of thin and long curved blending units. The end portions of the two ends of each of the blending units are respectively inserted into the base. Parts of the end portions of all blending units in connection with the base are positioned on the same circumference. The clearances between two adjacent blending units are equal or similar. The fixing mechanism comprises a plurality of fixing units corresponding to the blending units one-to-one, and the fixing units are inserted into the base and fix the end portions of the corresponding blending unit that extend into the base in the base. The blender has the advantages of stable operation and uniform blending of the pulp and mediums after blending and beating.
Whisk wiper
A whisk wiper, a device having a plurality of intersecting slits angularly disposed in an asterisk type pattern, is mounted onto a whisk. It is pulled down over the loops 44, each loop 44 guided through a slit 32. To clean off mixture 50 stuck to the whisk 46 the whisk wiper 30 is simply pulled off, the opposed edges of each slit 32 wiping the loops 44 clean. An absorbent whisk wiper 94 can also be used to scrub a whisk with deep slits 84 and compressed zig zag slit 106. The whisk wiper 90 can be configured to be turned inside out to allow the slits 84 to be easily cleaned. The slits can be extended to create a compressed slit 98 which can be further configured with zig zag 102 or ribbed 100 sides to enhance the cleaning action.
DEPLOYABLE STIRRING MEMBER
The invention relates to a stirring member (9) for using in a system for preparing a food product, the product being prepared by the stirring member (9) moving inside a container (8), the stirring member (9) being configured in such a way that it can adopt different configurations depending on its direction of rotation inside the container (8). Preferably, the stirring member (9) can adopt a spoon configuration or a whisk configuration. The invention further relates to a method for using such a stirring member (9) in a system for preparing a food product, the method varying the direction of rotation of the stirring member (9) so that it adopts a different configuration depending on the type of product prepared in the container (8).
