SOUND PICKUP DEVICE AND SOUND PROCESSING DEVICE
A sound pickup device includes: a housing; a mount portion via which the housing is mounted on an object; a sound pickup including a microphone; a first output configured to output a sound signal indicating a sound input to the sound pickup; an installer configured to install the sound pickup on the housing; a sensor configured to detect a vibration transmitted to the housing; and a second output configured to output a vibration signal indicating the vibration detected by the sensor.
Handheld musical instrument
A handheld musical instrument for generating percussion sounds, the handheld musical instrument includes a body part with one or more sensors, a set of control buttons to select a type of audio output to be generated by said handheld musical instrument, and a handle part coupled to said body part, the handle part including the set of control buttons and operable between a first position and a second position.
Handheld musical instrument with gesture control
A handheld musical instrument for playing a variety of audio program, the handheld musical instrument includes a main body portion with one or more sensors, a handle portion engaged with said main body portion, wherein said handle portion includes one or more control buttons to select a type of program to be played by said handheld musical instrument and a gesture detection module for detecting gestures associated with said handheld musical instrument and controlling a tempo associated with said program played by said handheld musical instrument based on said detected gestures.
Foot percussion device
A foot percussion device can include a rigid board defining an upper surface and a lower surface distal from the upper surface; a spacer secured to and extending from the lower surface of the board, the spacer being compressible and defining a height before compression, the spacer configured to isolate the board from contact with a floor surface on which the device is placed; an audio jack; and a sensor in contact with and secured to one of the upper surface and the lower surface of the board, the sensor configured to convert mechanical vibrations in the board to electrical signals transmittable through the audio jack.
Electronic drum
A percussion instrument includes a drum shell, a batter head maintained under tension by a rim secured to the top of the drum shell, a flexible member supported at the bottom end of the drum shell, a contact microphone retained on a central section of the flexible member, an acoustic transmission structure in contact with the batter head, and a drive foot coupled to a lower end of the acoustic transmission structure. The contact microphone can be coupled to the flexible support member with a first double-sided adhesive tape member. A foam cushion disposed between the drive foot and the contact microphone can be coupled to the drive foot on a top side with a second double-sided adhesive tape member and on the opposite bottom side with a third double-sided adhesive member to reduce unwanted microphonics or feedback, and allow rapid reversion of the signal from the contact microphone.
MAGNETICALLY SECURED CYMBAL TRIGGER AND CHOKE ASSEMBLY
An apparatus, system, and method for a magnetically and releaseably attachable trigger for an instrument is provided along with a choking device for use of the trigger in connection with a cymbal or like percussion device. The trigger and securing device are disposed on either side of a cymbal surface or a cymbal stand via magnetic force and the choking mechanism is in electrical connection with the trigger to interrupt the signal for choking purposes and is mounted on a surface of the cymbal to be choked.
HANDHELD ELECTRONIC MUSICAL PERCUSSION INSTRUMENT
An apparatus, system, and method for an electronic handheld musical instrument that generates electronic signals for processing by a processor-based module to generate musical sounds adapted to replicate non-electronic traditional hand percussion and other handheld instruments, is provided. A piezoelectric-based trigger is secured in an enclosed volume or enclosure formed in the electronic handheld musical instrument. When manipulated by a musician in a normal fashion, freely moving beads float or travel within the enclosure of the electronic handheld musical instrument and strike against a sensitive face of the piezoelectric transducer device to create a desired sound effect.
Magnetically secured instrument trigger
An apparatus, system, and method for a magnetically and releaseably attachable trigger for an instrument is provided. The trigger and securing device are disposed on either side of a drumhead or other instrument surface via magnetic force, keeping the instrument surface intact and not deforming the instrument surface. Additionally, the trigger provides for an increased sensitivity of sound by being in direct physical contact with the surface on which it is attached.
Musical Instrument Tuner
A frequency detection and display device includes a body having a vibratory portion configured for vibrating at a predetermined frequency. In this manner, the vibratory portion provides a visible indication corresponding to the predetermined frequency in response to vibration of an object, such as a stringed musical instrument, to which the frequency detection and display device is attached.
ELECTRONIC PERCUSSION MELODY MUSICAL INSTRUMENT
The present invention provides an electronic percussion melody musical instrument, comprising: a key module including a plurality of keys each arranged to receive a knock from the outside, and a plurality of energy conversion units each configured to sense mechanical energy generated by the knocking of the key and convert the mechanical energy into electrical energy in the form of an electrical signal; a storage unit configured to store sound source data associated with the plurality of keys; an output unit configured to output a sound signal corresponding to the sound source data; and a control unit configured to: receive the electrical signal from the energy conversion unit; acquire the sound source data associated with the electrical signal from the storage unit according to the electrical signal; and control e output unit to output the sound signal corresponding to the sound source data.
