In one example, the can opening and draining device includes a plunger with a lower section that extends from an upper body and a base with an opening. In the can opening and draining device, the lower section is configured to mate with the opening in the base and the base includes a blade which is coupled to an interior of the base. The base further includes a drain opening that extends through a wall of the base.
