The present invention relates to a method for processing and playing audio data comprising the steps of receiving mixed input data and playing recombined output data. Furthermore, the invention relates to a device for processing and playing audio data, preferably DJ equipment, comprising an audio input unit for receiving a mixed input signal, a recombination unit and a playing unit for playing recombined output data. In addition, the present invention relates to a method and a device for representing audio data, i.e. on a display.
TRANSITION FUNCTIONS OF DECOMPOSED SIGNALS
A device for processing audio signals, including: first and second input units providing first and second input signals of first and second audio tracks, a decomposition unit to decompose the first input audio signal to obtain a plurality of decomposed signals, a playback unit configured to start playback of a first output signal obtained from recombining at least a first decomposed signal at a first volume level with a second decomposed signal at a second volume level, such that the first output signal substantially equals the first input signal, and a transition unit for performing a transition between playback of the first output signal and playback of a second output signal obtained from the second input signal. The transition unit has a volume control section adapted for reducing the first and second volume levels according to first and second transition functions.
GUITAR AMPLIFIER AND CONTROL METHOD OF GUITAR AMPLIFIER
A guitar amplifier and a control method of a guitar amplifier in which a setting of a performance mode can be easily changed without an interruption to a sound is provided. The guitar amplifier, which performs musical sound processing on an input musical sound and outputs it, includes a storage device which stores a plurality of information sets including a set value for each of one or two or more types of musical sound processing used in a performance mode, and a control device which changes the setting of the one or two or more types of musical sound processing to a setting according to a set value of a selected information set when information indicating ON of the performance mode, to which the selected information set from the plurality of information sets has been applied, is input.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR ENERGY-BASED SONG CONSTRUCTION
According to an embodiment, there is provided a system and method for automatic AI-based song construction based on ideas of a user. It provides and benefits from a combination of expert knowledge resident in an expert engine which contains rules for a musically correct song generation and machine learning in an AI-based audio loop selection engine for the selection of fitting audio loops from a database of audio loops. Additionally, in some embodiments there is provided a method of energy-based song construction where the tracks of a multi-track work are balanced depending on the desired output volume level of the final project.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR GAPLESS AUDIO-PRESET SWITCHING IN AN ELECTRONIC MUSICAL-EFFECTS UNIT
A guitar multi-effects pedalboard is provided. The pedalboard has footswitches and a memory storing guitar-effect presets for processing an inputted guitar signal when the processing is triggered by pressing a footswitch. The pedalboard has one or more processors coupled to the memory and configured to process a first portion of an inputted guitar signal on a first audio-engine thread with a first guitar-effect preset when processing the first portion is triggered by pressing a footswitch. The one or more processors also process a second portion of the inputted guitar signal on a second audio-engine thread with a second guitar-effect preset while simultaneously processing the first portion of the inputted guitar signal on the first audio-engine thread with the first guitar-effect preset when processing the second portion is triggered by pressing a footswitch. The one or more processors simultaneously output the processed first portion and the processed second portion.
Adaptive music playback system
An adaptive music playback system is disclosed. The system includes a composition system that receives information corresponding to user activity levels. The composition system determines target musical criteria corresponding to the user activity levels and modifies the composition of a song in response to changes in user activity.
Music context system audio track structure and method of real-time synchronization of musical content
A system is described that permits identified musical phrases or themes to be synchronized and linked into changing real-world events. The achieved synchronization includes a seamless musical transitionachieved using a timing offset, such as relative advancement of an significant musical onset, that is inserted to align with a pre-existing but identified music signature, beat or timebasebetween potentially disparate pre-identified musical phrases having different emotive themes defined by their respective time signatures, intensities, keys, musical rhythms and/or musical phrasing. The system operates to augment an overall sensory experience of a user in the real world by dynamically changing, re-ordering or repeating and then playing audio themes within the context of what is occurring in the surrounding physical environment, e.g. during different phases of a cardio workout in a step class the music rate and intensity increase during sprint periods and decrease during recovery periods.
FADE DEVICE
A fade device includes a processor that couples a crossfader to a mixer, the processor using crossfader input to apply an acceleration or a latency to an audio signal passing through a mixer.
MEDIA-MEDIA AUGMENTATION SYSTEM AND METHOD OF COMPOSING A MEDIA PRODUCT
A media-content augmentation system includes a processing system that receives input data in the form of temporally-varying events data. The processing system resolves the input into one or more categorized contextual themes, correlates the themes with metadata associated with at least one reference media file, and then splices or fades together selected parts of the media file, thus generating as an output, a media product in which transitions between its contextual themes are aligned with selected temporal events in the input data. The temporarily-varying events take the form of a beginning and an end in the case of a sustained feature, or a specific point in time for a hit point. A method aligns sections in digital media files with temporally-varying events data to compose a media product. The system augments a sensory experience of a user by dynamically changing and then playing selected media files within the context of the categorized themes input to the processing system.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR AUTOMATIC MIXING OF MEDIA
A first device includes one or more processors and memory storing one or more programs configured to be executed by the one or more processors. The one or more programs include instructions for receiving, from a second device, audio mix information for a first audio item and receiving, from the second device, an indication that the first audio item is to be mixed with a second audio item distinct from the first audio item. In response to the indication, the one or more programs include instructions for transmitting to the second device an audio stream including the first audio item and the second audio item mixed in accordance with the audio mix information.
