Power control for piezo sounder
A notification appliance is disclosed and includes a sound engine that generates sound according to an acoustic pattern and the power control that regulates input voltage to the sound engine that is matched to the acoustic pattern. A method of powering a sounder is also disclosed and includes providing a constant input current and regulating an input voltage to a phase of a sound engine corresponding with an acoustic signal generated by a sound engine.
SOUND SOURCE DEVICE OF HORN
A sound source device of a horn according to one aspect of the present invention includes: a diaphragm; a movable iron core connected to the diaphragm through a support point; and a coil (bobbin and winding) into which a driving signal is inputted. The driving signal includes a first signal component that resonates with the diaphragm and a second signal component of a second frequency that resonates with the movable iron core of a first frequency and has a chord relationship with the first frequency. The support point is provided at a position eccentric from the center of the diaphragm, and the movable iron core is structured such that a gravity center is displaced further in an eccentric direction than the support point.

ACOUSTIC SENSOR FOR EMITTING AND/OR RECEIVING ACOUSTIC SIGNALS
An acoustic sensor for emitting and/or receiving acoustic signals includes a diaphragm having a first surface and a second surface forming oppositely situated sides of the diaphragm and defining a common surface perimeter by their edge, a housing that carries the diaphragm and restricts an expansion of the surface perimeter of the diaphragm during an operation of the acoustic sensor, and a first electroacoustic transducer disposed in a first subsection of the first surface of the diaphragm, the first subsection being outside of a center of the first surface of the diaphragm.

FLOW CONTROLLED SOUND GENERATION APPARATUS
A flow controlled sound generation system is disclosed that includes one or more fluid pumps to control air flow through a sound channel. The air flow is modulated through one or more valves to produce audible frequency pressure waves.

Modular acoustic sound processor
An acoustic sound processor is disclosed, which can be used to modify, enhance, pinpoint, and/or amplify the sound of acoustic instruments, the sound received by a microphone/transducer, or the soundwaves passing through any resonance chamber. The acoustic sound processor includes a plurality of tubes, filters, diaphragms, and collectors with ends that open externally and internally of the sound processor, and other ends that either open to an internal sound collector chamber or bypass the chamber on the opposite side of the device.
BICYCLE SAFETY SYSTEM
A safety system for bicycles includes a radar, a controller, and a warning apparatus, which includes a tube, a vibrating motor, and an impact sounder. The vibrating motor includes a rotary shaft and an eccentric block. The impact sounder includes an elastic member and an impact block. The elastic member includes a first end fixed to the inner wall of the tube and a second end connected to the impact block. When the controller decides to issue a warning based on a radar signal, it outputs a control signal to drive the rotary shaft to rotate. The rotation of the rotary shaft drives the eccentric block to rotate and vibrate, and the eccentric block strikes the impact sounder to make the impact block hit the inner wall and thus generate an impact force and emit a sound. The warning apparatus simultaneously provides the bicycle rider with vibrating, impacting, and audible warning.
