ACOUSTIC COLLECTION SYSTEM FOR HANDHELD ELECTRONIC DEVICES
A mounting system is provided to allow the attachment of an acoustic collector to a handheld electronic device such that sound is conducted directly to the device's microphone. A fitted case or band encloses part of the device and includes a tube running from the collector to the device's microphone. In certain embodiments, the tube may be embedded in the case, and a detachable mount may be provided to connect the collector to the case. The collector may be a stethoscope chestpiece, or an open air collector, such as a parabolic collector.
ACOUSTIC COMPONENT, ACOUSTIC APPARATUS AND ACOUSTIC SYSTEM
An acoustic component, an acoustic apparatus and an acoustic system are provided. The acoustic component has a pipe, a slot configured on the pipe that has an elongation direction along an elongation direction of the pipe, and a horn extending from a first end of the pipe. The acoustic apparatus includes the acoustic component and further includes an acoustic driver acoustically coupled with a second end of the pipe to radiate acoustic energy carried in waves into the pipe. The acoustic energy carried in waves is radiated to the environment through the slot and the horn.

WELL SITE NOISE CONTROL
A positionable exhaust apparatus with an exhaust outlet having a first bore extending along a length of the exhaust outlet. The first bore having a longitudinal axis extending the length thereof and an exhaust outlet tip coupled to the exhaust outlet. The exhaust outlet tip having a second bore with at least a portion of the second bore substantially aligned with the first bore of the exhaust outlet. An actuator coupled with the exhaust outlet and the exhaust outlet tip with at least a portion of the exhaust outlet tip to rotate the exhaust outlet tip relative to the exhaust outlet. The exhaust outlet tip rotatable three hundred and sixty degrees about the longitudinal axis of the exhaust outlet.

Stethoscope and binaural assembly for a stethoscope including a sound junction blockage prevention member
A stethoscope and binaural assembly are disclosed herein. The stethoscope includes a stethoscope chestpiece assembly and a binaural assembly including a first ear tube, a second ear tube, and an acoustic tube connected to the first and second ear tubes, the first ear tube being flexibly connected to the second ear tube by at least one spring member disposed inside the acoustic tube, a portion of the at least one spring member being located proximate to a sound transmission junction of the acoustic tube, the binaural assembly further including a junction blockage prevention member, the junction blockage prevention member configured to prevent one or more internal sound passageways of the sound transmission junction of the acoustic tube from becoming blocked or partially blocked by the at least one spring member when the first and second ear tubes are flexed outwardly away from one another by a user.
Acoustic transducer structures
Defining critical spacing is necessary for steering of parametric audio. Comparing steering measurements both with and without a waveguide leads to a conclusion that the diffuse phyllotactic grating lobe contributes audio and is to blame for poor steering. In addition, the waveguide needs to function with correct phase offsets to achieve the steering required for performance. Arranging tubes so that the array configuration changes from rectilinear to another distribution is useful when the waveguide is short of critical spacing or constrained for space. Array designs may also capitalize on rectilinear transducer design while having the benefits of a transducer tiling that has irrational spacing to promote the spread of grating lobe energy.
SOUND GENERATING DEVICE AS WELL AS VEHICLE EXHAUST SYSTEM
A sound generating device for a vehicle exhaust system has a housing, a sound generator located in the housing, a housing wall that comprises an opening for the sound generator, and a sound channel that extends in the housing. The sound generator is mounted to a shoulder section of the opening such that the opening is closed by the sound generator and a front side and a rear side of the sound generator are assigned to different sides of the opening. The sound channel acoustically connects the rear side of the sound generator with the front side of the sound generator. The opening and the sound generator comprise a central axis and the sound channel runs at least partially around the central axis.
