Reversible lid (1) for a storage or reheating canister, comprising a first (2) airtight attachment means designed to cooperate with an upper edge (4) of a container (5) when the lid (1) is arranged along a first direction on the container (5) and a second (3) airtight attachment means designed to cooperate with said upper edge (4) of the container (5) when the lid is arranged in the reverse direction on the container (5), characterized in that the lid (1) comprises a two-way steam release mechanism (10), connecting the two opposite surfaces of the lid, and in that said two-way release mechanism (10) allows a flow to pass between the two surfaces of the lid (1) when the pressure difference between the two surfaces is greater than or equal to a value (P0), particularly when reheating food in a microwave oven.

CONTAINER FOR FOODSTUFFS
Container (1) for foodstuffs comprising a main body (2) having a bottom wall (2a) and a perimeter side wall (2c) connected to the bottom wall (2a) so as to define a containment volume for foodstuffs. The perimeter side wall (2b) being provided with an edge portion (2c) distal from the bottom wall (2a).
The container (1) comprises a lid (3) comprising a central portion (3a) and engagement tabs (3b) extending from a perimeter portion (3c) of the central portion (3a) and configured to hook or to be hooked to the edge portion (2c) of the main body (2) so as to define a configuration for engaging the lid (3) with the main body (2). The central portion (3a) can be pressed by a user so as to obtain a movement of the engagement tabs (3b) away from the edge portion (2c), defining a configuration for disengaging the lid (3) from the main body (2).
Food Bag Closure Assembly
A food bag closure assembly includes a clip that has a pair of jaws being biased against each other for closing an opened food bag. A gas unit is provided that stores an inert gas and the gas unit is integrated into the clip. The gas unit is in fluid communication with an interior of the food bag when the clip is positioned on the food bag. Moreover, the gas unit is actuated to release a pre-determined volume of the inert gas each time the clip is closed. In this way the gas unit injects the inert gas into the food bag for extending the shelf life of food contained in the food bag.
FOOD STORING AND CONSUMPTION TRACKING SYSTEM AND METHOD
A food storing and tracking system comprising: at least one food container; at least one sealing lid, each complementary to one of said at least one container; a vacuum seal inducer, and sensors for measuring freshness of the food item, wherein the system is configured to allow: placing the food item in the container; releasably sealing the container with the sealing lid complementary thereto; subjecting the sealed container to sub-atmospheric pressure by employing the vacuum seal inducer on the sealed container, and tracking the freshness of the food item with the sensors for measuring freshness.

A food storing and tracking system comprising: at least one food container; at least one sealing lid, each complementary to one of said at least one container; a vacuum seal inducer, and sensors for measuring freshness of the food item, wherein the system is configured to allow: placing the food item in the container; releasably sealing the container with the sealing lid complementary thereto; subjecting the sealed container to sub-atmospheric pressure by employing the vacuum seal inducer on the sealed container, and tracking the freshness of the food item with the sensors for measuring freshness.
Cake protector
A cake protector with cake region defined by a vertical cake region wall resting on the surface and a horizontal cover. A candle region above the cover is defined by the cover and a candle region wall. In one configuration, the cake region wall, cover, and candle region wall are a unitary component. In another configuration, the cake region wall is a unitary component, and the cover and candle region wall is a separate unitary component that sits in an annular groove in the top of the cake region wall. A lid is attached to the candle region wall by a hinge such that the lid pivots between an open position, where the lid allows access to the candle region, and a closed position, where the lid encloses the candle region. The hinge is detachable or not. The lid has holes for candles that rest on the cover.
