A consumer appliance is provided herein. The consumer appliance may include a cabinet, an exterior panel, an electromechanical driver, an electromechanical receiver, and a controller. The cabinet may define an internal chamber. The exterior panel may be mounted to the cabinet. The electromechanical driver may be fixed to the exterior panel to generate a soundwave therefrom. The electromechanical receiver may be mounted within the cabinet. The controller may be configured to initiate a noise canceling operation. The noise canceling operation may include receiving a noise input signal at the electromechanical receiver and initiating an anti-noise wave at the electromechanical driver through the exterior panel based on the received noise input signal.

A fan control system applied to N fans inside a computer system is disclosed, comprising: a main microphone, a control circuitry, a wave generation circuitry and a number N of fan controllers. The control circuitry calculates a basic frequency value according to a temperature inside the computer system, and continuously updates a parameter by any known optimization algorithm according to a main audio signal from the main microphone. The wave generation circuitry generates N square waves according to the basic frequency value and the parameter. The N fan controllers respectively form and transmit N modulation signals to the N fans according to the N square waves and N tachometric signals from the N fans. The parameter is one of a frequency variation and a set of phase differences, and the N square waves have the same frequency.

The odor neutralizing gas emitter is coupled to the housing and is configured to provide an odor neutralizing gas that neutralizes odor particles. The active noise canceling system includes a microphone configured to generate a captured signal representing a noise signal, an acoustic transducer configured to emit audio signals, and a controller operatively coupled to the microphone and the acoustic transducer and configured to receive the captured signal from the microphone. The controller is configured to control the acoustic transducer to emit an anti-noise signal based on the captured signal where the anti-noise signal is configured to attenuate the noise signal.

A method and system for noise cancellation is disclosed. In one embodiment, the method may include receiving, from a first sensor, a first signal indicative of a noise generated by an equipment. The first sensor may be configured to generate the first signal indicative of the noise generated by the equipment. The first sensor may be positioned in proximity to the equipment.
