Sanitary chair
The sanitary chair forms a seat that is a configured for use in a shower and with a commode. A patient sits on a horizontal surface formed by the sanitary chair. One dimension of the horizontal surface is adjustable. The sanitary chair comprises a plurality of legs, a base structure, a rail, a seat cushion, a folding cushion, and a back rest. The base structure forms the horizontal seating surface of the sanitary chair. The plurality of legs raise the base structure above the supporting surface. The seat cushion and the folding cushion forms the horizontal seating surface of the supporting chair. The back rest is a vertically oriented structure that supports the back of the patient. The rail, the seating cushion, the folding cushion, and the back rest are attached to the base structure.
Bathing apparatuses and methods of making and using the same
The apparatuses and methods of making and using the same are directed to bathing apparatus to support an object while bathing the object with a fluid. The bathing apparatus may comprise a support assembly constituting a support structure of the apparatus; a support surface to support the object, the support surface supported by the support portion; and a fluid catch disposed on at least three sides of the support surface, the fluid catch serving as a basin for the fluid in such manner to contain the fluid separate from the support surface. The bathing apparatus may be used in combination with a support wall that includes a plurality of channels to hold household items.
Bathing Chair Assembly
A bathing chair assembly that allows access to genital and perianal regions of a bather includes a seat. A plurality of legs is coupled to and extends substantially perpendicularly from a bottom of the seat. The legs are configured to support the seat substantially parallel to a substantially horizontal surface, positioning the seat to support the bather. A backrest that is coupled to and extends from a rear edge of the seat is configured to support a back of the bather who is positioned on the seat. A void that is centrally positioned in the seat is configured to allow a user access to the genital and perianal regions of the bather.
COLLAPSIBLE AND HEIGHT ADJUSTABLE SHOWER CHAIR DEVICE
The collapsible and height adjustable shower chair device disclosed herein may allow a user to seat and support a child while in the shower for washing. The device may collapse down into a form factor suitable for storing away, while also providing a height adjustment so that a child is placed at an appropriate height for where a second user may attend to the child. The feet of the device may provide traction and stability to the collapsible and height adjustable shower chair device so that it does not slide on a wet surface and so that it does not tilt forward due to the child shifting their weight. The device may further comprise safety features such as, for example, side bolsters or a seat belt to prevent a child from falling out of the device.
Bidet and Dispenser for Use in Tub or Shower
A bidet chair, having legs and a seat, for use in cleaning the body is disclosed. The seat has a spray port extending from the top side to the underside dimensioned to receive the face of a showerhead. Preferably a screen, extending completely or partially across the spray port prevents the showerhead from extending past the seat. A showerhead retaining member places the showerhead under the seat, positioning the face to expel water out the spray port. Preferably the seat also contains drain holes for water drainage during use. The showerhead retaining member can be a showerhead tray having a showerhead receiving area and support system to enable vertical movement of the showerhead tray. In another embodiment the showerhead retaining area can be a pair of rails to hold a retaining element containing the showerhead.
SHOWER ROOM WITH A ROTATABLE CABINET
A shower room has a compartment, a rotatable cabinet rotatably mounted in an opening of the compartment, a seat mounted on the rotatable cabinet, and a shower device mounted in the compartment. When the rotatable cabinet is rotated to a using state, the opening of the compartment is closed by the rotatable cabinet and the seat is disposed inside the compartment. When the rotatable cabinet is rotated to a moving state, the seat is disposed outside the compartment. A user sitting on the seat can be rotated into an interior space of the compartment along with the rotatable cabinet to have a shower, or be rotated to an exterior of the compartment to leave the rotatable cabinet. Therefore, it is convenient for people with mobility problems to enter or leave the shower room by sitting on the seat and rotating in place.
Bidet for Use in Tub or Shower
A bidet chair, having legs and a seat, for use in cleaning the body is disclosed. The seat has a spray port extending from the top side to the underside dimensioned to receive the face of a showerhead. Shower related apparatus
The inventive technology disclosed herein, in embodiments, relates to a shower stall system that may include an inventive shower drain adaptor ring 11; an inventive anti-ligature grab rail system 30; and inventive, drop-in shower installation related apparatus and methods. Note that all of these may find application in a prison environment, but may find application in other environments as well (e.g., grab rail in kitchen, shower drain adaptor ring in residential shower, etc.).
BATHING APPARATUSES AND METHODS OF MAKING AND USING THE SAME
The apparatuses and methods of making and using the same are directed to bathing apparatus to support an object while bathing the object with a fluid. MODULAR ROLL-IN SHOWER SYSTEM
A modular roll-in shower system includes a base having an upper surface and a lower surface and a plurality of side walls extending upward from the upper surface and a door attached to a first of the plurality of side walls. The side walls, the door and the base are connected together to form a substantially water tight bathing chamber having an opening above the base. The door is attached to a side wall or a door jamb. The door may be attached at an angle biased to swing the door into the closed position or the door may be attached with spring loaded hinges that swing the door into the closed position. The door may also be electronically controlled to open and close. The system also includes an access ramp that is substantially flush with a floor surface on a first side and substantially flush with the upper surface of the base on a second side to allow a wheel chair to roll from the floor surface onto the upper surface of the base.
