The transfer unit has a plurality of trays, each having a series of seats designed to house a product, a moving system, which cyclically moves the trays between the pick-up and release stations, a first transferring and second transfer devices arranged in the pick-up station and release stations, respectively to transfer the products from the first processing conveyor to a tray, and from a tray to the second processing conveyor, respectively.

HEATING DEVICE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR, AND HEAT-NOT-BURN SMOKING DEVICE
20220346451 · 2022-11-03 ·

A heating device and a manufacturing method therefor, and a heat-not-burn smoking device. The heating device includes a first heating assembly, including a first housing configured for contacting with a tobacco, a first heating element on the first housing and configured to generate heat when electrified, and a first insulator between the first heating element and the first housing. The first heating element generates heat when electrified, the heat is conducted to the first housing through the first insulator, to heat but not burn the tobacco. The heating device is formed by cooperation of the heating element, the insulator and the housing, and heats the tobacco by the heating element when electrified. Compared with a heating conductive layer formed by a thick film printing process, the manufacturing of the heating device is simpler and more convenient, and the consistency and service life of the product are greatly improved.

A method for manufacturing a vaporizer includes: connecting an auxiliary member to a liquid storage member having a liquid storage cavity and an inhalation channel such that the auxiliary member is nested and fitted with the inhalation channel so as to serve as at least a partial boundary of the liquid storage cavity; injecting a vaporization medium into the liquid storage cavity and causing the vaporization medium to cover at least a partial surface of the auxiliary member; and mounting a vaporization assembly to the liquid storage member such that the vaporization assembly abuts the auxiliary member to cause the auxiliary member to move relative to the inhalation channel until the vaporization assembly seals the liquid storage cavity and at least partially replaces the auxiliary member to serve as at least a partial boundary of the liquid storage cavity.

Assembly substation for assembling a cartridge for a smoking article and related method

The present disclosure relates to systems, apparatuses, and methods for assembling cartridges for aerosol delivery devices. The cartridges may be assembled by coupling a base of the cartridge to a carriage that is transported via a track. The track transports the carriages between various substations at which one or more parts are added to the base. The carriage may be lifted from the track by a lifter mechanism at each substation in order to perform assembly operations on the base. An inspection system may inspect the cartridges at various stages of completion at or between the various substations.
