Double inlet valve for enhanced pump efficiency

An dispenser includes a housing, a container disposed in the housing for holding a liquid, a nozzle, and a pump. The pump is disposed between the container and the nozzle. The pump includes a pump inlet, a pump outlet, a pump chamber, a first check valve, and a second check valve. The pump inlet is in fluid communication with the container and the pump chamber, and the pump outlet is in fluid communication with the pump chamber and the nozzle. The pump chamber is movable between an expanded position and a compressed position. The first check valve is disposed between the container and the pump, and the first check valve has a first cracking pressure. The second check valve is disposed between the first check valve and the pump, and the second check valve has a second cracking pressure. The first cracking pressure of the first check valve is greater than the second cracking pressure of the second check valve.

Portable hand washing station

The disclosed technology includes a portable hand washing station having a sink with an atomizing nozzle that can provide an ultra-low flow of atomized liquid. The atomizing nozzle can reduce consumption of water and reduce the required supply of power for adequate operation of a heating device and a pump of the portable hand washing station. The heating device can include insulation, such that the heating device can provide heated water during an extended operation period.

A vehicle-mounted hand sanitizing system includes a fluid storage container having a main body and connectors for securement along or within a motor vehicle. A pump is in communication with the main body and a power supply. At least one mirror dispensing unit is connected to the pump by a control and supply line. Each of the at least one mirror dispensing units includes an automobile mirror assembly having a mirror housing, attachment column, mirrored surface, and a fluid discharge nozzle. A control switch is disposed along the mirror housing and is connected to a controller located within the at least one mirror housing. A hand sensor is provided along the mirror housing and is in communication with the control switch to activate the pump upon detecting the presence of a user's hand within a detection area.

HAND WASH STATION

A portable hand wash station includes a base that can set upon the ground. A fresh water tank and greywater tank are disposed atop the base. A tank cover is disposed atop the tanks. The sink member is pivotally mounted to the tank cover. The sink member defines two sink basins that oppose one another. Each sink basin can be shaped and sized to allow the user to wash their forearms. A backsplash member can be secured to the sink member between the individual sink basins. The fresh water tank access can be secured by locking the sink member to the tank cover. A plurality of rods secure the tanks in place between the base and tank cover without protruding through a sidewall of the tanks.

Hygiene compliance and monitoring system

A method of hand hygiene compliance enforcement and hand hygiene system comprising at least one dispenser unit that has an interior chamber containing a volume of hand soap or sanitizer and a dispenser nozzle configured to dispense a measured volume of hand soap or sanitizing material upon a triggering event. The dispenser also has a control unit mounted therein, the control unit is in electronic communication with the dispenser nozzle and has at least one identity sensor, at least one alarm indicator and at least one transmitter. The hand hygiene system also has at least one proximity sensor in electronic communication with the control unit. The proximity sensor is located a spaced distance from the at least one dispenser.

Low cost radio frequency identification (RFID) dispensing systems

A radio frequency identification (RFID) dispenser that includes low cost electronic components that can read and write to the tag of a refill cartridge. In one embodiment, the reader utilizes a multi band pass filter to convert the radio frequency identification into a digital signal that is processed by a controller to perform a dispensing function representative to the code of the tag. In another embodiment, the controller utilizes an internal comparator to convert the radio frequency identification into a digital signal that is processed by a controller to perform a dispensing function representative to the code of the tag. The dispenser in both embodiments also includes a pair of transistors that write to the RFID tag of the refill cartridge. A dispenser according to the invention also includes the capability to read and/or write to tags upon cartridges employed by the dispenser, and augmenting the operation of the dispenser as a function thereof. Additionally, a dispenser of variable size is presented that is adaptable, through adjustable partitions or a telescoping cup, to receive and maintain cartridges of various sizes.
