Electronic soap dispenser
An electronic soap dispenser includes an upper dispensing head supported above a sink deck, and a liquid soap reservoir and a pump assembly supported below the sink deck. A capacitive sensor is operably coupled to the dispensing head. A controller is in electrical communication with the capacitive sensor and activates the pump assembly in response to input from the capacitive sensor.
Superimposed QR Code for Dispenser and Replaceable Reservoir
A dispenser with a replaceable cartridge containing a product to be dispensed, and a housing configured to removably receive the cartridge. The cartridge has a surface that is marked with a first marking, and the housing has a surface that is marked with a second marking. The housing is configured so that, when the cartridge is received by the housing, the first marking and the second marking together form a machine readable code that is detectable from outside of the housing.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CALIBRATING REMAINING DOSES IN A REFILLABLE DISPENSER
An exemplary dispenser includes a housing and a refill unit. The refill unit being removable and replaceable. The dispenser also includes a processor, memory, a dose count stored in memory that is indicative of the number of doses in a full refill unit, a level sensor for detecting a predetermined level the refill unit and a dispense count indicative of the number doses of product dispensed from the refill unit. In addition, the dispenser includes memory and has logic stored in the memory for recalibrating the number of doses remaining in the refill unit as a function of the dose count, the number of doses of product dispensed and the predetermined level of product. The number of doses of product remaining in the refill unit may be displayed on the dispenser, on a remote station, or on both the dispenser and a remote station.
Flexible mounting system for hand hygiene dispensers
A flexible mounting system for a chemical product dispenser includes a dispenser holder and at least one mounting apparatus. A releasable connection mechanism provides for attachment of the dispenser holder to the mounting apparatus. The releasable connection mechanism may provide for attachment of the dispenser holder to the mounting apparatus in multiple orientations. In one example, the mounting apparatus includes a mounting bracket configured for mounting to a support object, such as a wall, table, counter top, cabinet, shelf, cart etc. In another example, the mounting apparatus includes a mounting clamp configured for mounting to ledges, poles, bedrails, handles, etc.
HANDS-FREE FLOWABLE MATERIAL DISPENSERS AND RELATED METHODS
A flowable material dispenser for dispensing flowable material from a container having a pump may include a housing, an actuator, a motor, and a drive assembly. The actuator may be disposed within the housing and configured to translate relative to the housing between a first position and a second position during a dispense cycle. The actuator may be configured to move the pump between an extended configuration and a compressed configuration to dispense the flowable material as the actuator translates between the first position and the second position during the dispense cycle. The drive assembly may be coupled to the actuator and the motor and configured to translate the actuator between the first position and the second position at a varying rate of translation during the dispense cycle. The varying rate of translation may vary relative to a rate of rotation of the motor and follow a non-sinusoidal waveform.
Skin care product dispensers and associated self-foaming compositions
Embodiments of the present invention provide foam skin care product (e.g., soap) dispensers and corresponding compositions. An example foam skin care product dispenser includes a reservoir that holds, under pressure, a skin care product composition, including one or more propellants. During a dispense, a dispense valve is opened to release some of the skin care product composition from the reservoir into a dispensing (e.g., flow) path. Once released, the skin care product composition at least partially foams to form foamed skin care product (e.g., foamed soap).
ISOLATION OF CELLS OF EPITHELIAL ORIGIN CIRCULATING IN PERIPHERAL BLOOD
The present invention provides a method for identifying epithelial cells circulating in peripheral blood, which allows individuals who suffer from a disease that presents with epithelial cell destruction to be discriminated from those who do not. The invention also relates to a kit or device for carrying out the methods of the invention.
ILLUMINATING BAR OF SOAP
An illuminating soap module includes a shell defining a cavity for holding liquid soap. The shell may include one or more openings. The one or more openings may include a dispenser, a plug, a light module, and combinations thereof. The illuminating soap module is configured to illuminate upon a triggering event.
LIQUID DISPENSER
A liquid dispenser includes a bottle, a cap, and a dispenser head. The bottle defines an interior configured for storing contents, and defines an opening to the interior from an exterior. The cap is configured for engaging the bottle such that the cap is positioned over the opening and is in fluid communication with the interior of the bottle. The dispenser head is configured for engaging the cap at a side of the cap opposite the bottle and dispensing the contents of the bottle through the cap, the dispenser head having an exterior surface extended between a top dispenser head portion and a bottom dispenser head portion. A cavity in the dispenser head is defined by the exterior surface of the dispenser head between the top dispenser head portion and the bottom dispenser head portion.
DISPENSER WITH NOZZLE APERTURE GUARD
A product dispenser includes an enclosure having at least one wall that defines an interior of the enclosure. The wall defines an aperture. The product dispenser includes a dispensing assembly within which a product is contained and from which the product is dispensed. The dispensing assembly is supported within the interior of the enclosure such that the dispensing assembly dispenses the product through the aperture. The product dispenser includes a barrier guard extending around a perimeter of the aperture between the wall and the dispensing assembly to inhibit accessibility to the interior of the enclosure between the barrier guard and the wall.
