Folded stack of tissues

The present invention provides a pack of tissues including multiple tissues arranged in a stack and a dispenser enclosing the stack. The dispenser includes a dispensing orifice. At least a portion of the tissues are folded so as to include a leading edge contacting the upper surface of a center panel and a trailing edge contacting the bottom surface of the center panel. The tissues are interfolded such as to have a portion of the leading edge of a first, or preceding, tissue to overlap the leading edge of a second, or succeeding tissue. In this manner, the leading edge of the first tissue terminates at a first vertical axis and the leading edge of the second tissue terminates at a second vertical axis where there is a distance between the first and the second vertical axis that is greater than 0.

PACKAGE COMPRISING A STACK OF ABSORBENT TISSUE PAPER MATERIAL AND A PACKAGING

A package including a stack of absorbent tissue paper material and a packaging, wherein, in the stack, the tissue material forms panels having a length, and a width perpendicular to the length, the panels being piled on top of each other to form a height extending between a first end surface and a second end surface of the stack; the absorbent tissue paper material including at least a dry crepe material, the stack, when in the package, having a selected packing density D0 of 0.25 to 0.65 kg/dm.sup.3, and exerting a force along the height of the stack towards the packaging, the packaging encircling the stack so as to maintain the stack in a compressed condition with the selected packing density D0.

A film-packaged tissue in which wrinkles or twisting is less likely to occur in tissue paper stored in the film package. A bundle of pop-up type tissue paper is film-packaged by a resin packaging film. The inner circumferential length of the packaging film in a short direction of the bundle is 91 to 97% of a theoretical outer circumferential length in the short direction of the bundle, and the compression characteristic (RC) of the film-packaged tissue by KES measurement at a longitudinal center of a bundle upper surface is 45 to 60%.

The invention provides a stack comprising a plurality of absorbent sheets stacked in facing arrangement. The stack is bound along its top edge by at least one line of stitches comprising a plurality of spaced apart stitch holes and a thread disposed therein. Individual sheets further comprise a line of perforations comprising a plurality of spaced apart perforation holes. The line of stitches and the line of perforations are such that there is generally a one-to-one numerical correspondence amongst at least a majority of the plurality of stitch holes and perforation holes.

A film-packaged tissue in which a part of tissue paper exposed from an outlet is likely to stand up. A film-packaged tissue in which a pop-up type bundle of tissue paper is packaged by a resin packaging film. In the film-packaged tissue, perforations for forming an outlet are formed annularly along the longitudinal direction of the bundle, and an edge of the outlet formed by tearing of the perforation for forming the outlet has a guiding edge for moving each side edge portion in a bundle longitudinal direction of the tissue paper in the short direction of the bundle.
