Cartomizer for an Aerosol Generating Device with Leakage Prevention
A cartomizer for an aerosol generating device includes a container for holding at least one reservoir configured to containing a vaporizable material; a vaporizing chamber fluidly connected to a mouth end by a vapor passage; a liquid transport element, in particular a porous capillary member, extending from inside the at least one reservoir to inside the vaporizing chamber to convey the vaporizable material from the at least one reservoir to the inside of the vaporizing chamber; and an air inlet arranged to supply the vaporizing chamber with air in use; wherein a leakage collecting chamber is arranged between the vaporizing chamber and the air inlet to collect vaporizable material from the vaporizing chamber and the leakage collecting chamber includes at least one liquid stopping or barrier wall arranged between the leakage collecting chamber and the air inlet, in particular at least one through-hole of the air inlet, forming an overflow.
APPARATUS FOR HEATING AEROSOLIZABLE MATERIAL
An apparatus arranged to heat aerosolizable material to volatilize at least one component of the aerosolizable material. The apparatus includes a conductive coil defining an elongate receiving portion arranged to receive a consumable article including aerosolizable material. The conductive coil has a first end and a second end opposite the opposite the first end. The apparatus also includes a clamping structure including a first engagement portion arranged to apply a first force to the first end and a second engagement portion arranged to apply a second force, opposing the first force, to the second end, thereby providing a tension in the conductive coil.
APPARATUS FOR HEATING AEROSOLIZABLE MATERIAL
An apparatus arranged to heat aerosolizable material to volatilize at least one component of the aerosolizable material. The apparatus includes a conductive coil defining an elongate receiving portion arranged to receive a consumable article including aerosolizable material. The conductive coil has a first end and a second end opposite the opposite the first end. The apparatus also includes a clamping structure including a first engagement portion arranged to apply a first force to the first end and a second engagement portion arranged to apply a second force, opposing the first force, to the second end, thereby providing a tension in the conductive coil.
AEROSOL GENERATION DEVICE HAVING VIBRATION PART AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
An aerosol generation device having a vibration part and a control method thereof are provided. The aerosol generation device according to some embodiments of the present disclosure may include a housing including an accommodation space for accommodating an aerosol-generating article, a heating element configured to be inserted into the aerosol-generating article accommodated in the accommodation space and heat the accommodated aerosol-generating article to generate an aerosol, and a vibration part. The vibration part may vibrate the heating element to prevent formation of stuck-on residue on the heating element and allow removal of stuck-on residue formed on the heating element.
AEROSOL GENERATION DEVICE HAVING VIBRATION PART AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
An aerosol generation device having a vibration part and a control method thereof are provided. The aerosol generation device according to some embodiments of the present disclosure may include a housing including an accommodation space for accommodating an aerosol-generating article, a heating element configured to be inserted into the aerosol-generating article accommodated in the accommodation space and heat the accommodated aerosol-generating article to generate an aerosol, and a vibration part. The vibration part may vibrate the heating element to prevent formation of stuck-on residue on the heating element and allow removal of stuck-on residue formed on the heating element.
AEROSOL PROVISION SYSTEM
An aerosol provision cartridge (30) for an aerosol provision system (10). The cartridge (30) comprises a refillable chamber (100) for aerosol precursor material, the chamber (100) comprising a first opening (102) and a second opening (104), each opening (102;104) allowing for access into the chamber (100). Each opening (102;104) is covered by a respective cap (130;132) which is configured to be uncoupled from the chamber (100) for allowing access to the opening (102;104). The cartridge (30) is configured such that each cap (130;132), when coupled to the chamber (100), requires at least two different actions (A1;A2) to be uncoupled from the chamber (100). The first or second action (A1;A2) may each include, but are not limited, to: rotating; pulling; pushing; or unlatching.
AEROSOL PROVISION SYSTEM
An aerosol provision cartridge (30) for an aerosol provision system (10). The cartridge (30) comprises a refillable chamber (100) for aerosol precursor material, the chamber (100) comprising a first opening (102) and a second opening (104), each opening (102;104) allowing for access into the chamber (100). Each opening (102;104) is covered by a respective cap (130;132) which is configured to be uncoupled from the chamber (100) for allowing access to the opening (102;104). The cartridge (30) is configured such that each cap (130;132), when coupled to the chamber (100), requires at least two different actions (A1;A2) to be uncoupled from the chamber (100). The first or second action (A1;A2) may each include, but are not limited, to: rotating; pulling; pushing; or unlatching.
Charger for aerosol-generating devices
A charger may be used as a social recharge hub that charges aerosol-generating devices and facilitate social connections. The charger may be able to charge a plurality of batteries concurrently or simultaneously. The charger may capable of associating a battery identifier of one or more batteries to a user. The user may also be associated with an aerosol-generating device and to a mobile user device. The charger may establish a connection with the mobile user device and communicate to the mobile user device using a communication interface. User data, such as preferences, interests, and even music, may be communicated from the mobile user device to the charger and may be used to facilitate social opportunities for the user, particularly in a public or social space with other users, or to make the space around the user more comfortable.

An aerosol generating source support assembly includes: an inner cylinder which is hollow, having a support space, and arranged to surround and support at least a portion of an aerosol generating source; and an outer cylinder connected to the inner cylinder and arranged to movably support the inner cylinder such that the inner cylinder moves between a coupling position in which the outer cylinder is coupled with the inner cylinder and a separation position in which at least a portion of the inner cylinder is separated from the outer cylinder.
