Paper toweling or tissue dispensing apparatus including roll overspin control
Dispenser apparatus for holding a roll of paper toweling or tissue sheet material and dispensing the sheet material, the apparatus including structure exerting drag forces on the roll to reduce overspin when pulling forces on the sheet material causing dispensing have been terminated.
STRIP DISPENSING APPARATUS FOR FLEXIBLE MATERIAL PACKS IN COILS POSITIONED HORIZONTALLY OR VERTICALLY
A dispensing apparatus for strips of coiled flexible material having at regular intervals tear lines to form the strips. The apparatus includes a casing receiving the coil, the casing having a circular opening for the passage and distribution of a strip of coiled flexible material under a tensile stress. The casing also includes at least one washer fixed on the casing concentrically with the distribution opening, wherein the internal diameter of the at least one washer is smaller than the diameter of the opening. The one or more washers are made of an elastomeric material capable of being deformed under the effect of the material distribution through the opening for achieving, concomitantly, a strip cut along a tear line. The one or more washers cooperate with an element manually operable and arranged to reduce the internal diameter of the one or more washers.
Tube, reusable insert for toilet paper rolls
A reusable insert for a tubeless roll of material, such as a toilet paper roll, which insert coordinates with a standard spindle, roller axle or toilet paper roll holder, such that the material can spin freely, and is secure and centered on the spindle or axle, the insert having a tapered, hollow end, a tubular, hollow body and, distal from the tapered end, a cylindrical, hollow sleeve within the inner surface of the distal part of the tubular hollow body, where the hollow sleeve acts as a bearing to the roller axle.
Methods of making, packaging, and delivering compressed hollow coreless reformable roll products
A compressed hollow coreless roll of absorbent paper sheet produced by way of providing a roll of absorbent paper sheet by winding the sheet about a forming core member having a diameter in the range of 30 mm to 50 mm; removing the forming core member such that there is provided a hollow coreless roll of absorbent paper sheet with an axial cavity having a diameter in the range of 30 mm to 50 mm and compressing the hollow coreless roll such that the axial cavity is substantially collapsed. The compressed hollow coreless rolls are readily re-formed into cylindrical shape. Space-saving packages of the rolls are overwrapped with tubular polymer film to provide a flexible reconfigurable package of a series of individually encased rolls. Volume reductions of about 10 to about 20%, about 14% to about 20%, 30%, 40% and more as compared with conventional products are realized.
REFILL DEVICE FOR A DISPENSING SYSTEM
A dispensing system has a dispenser for sections of a material web wound onto a roll. A support bar is provided, on each end, a bearing journal protruding out from the roll. At least one of the two bearing journals has a mating surface which is not designed as a rotational surface. The dispenser has a guide for each bearing journal that extends to a dispensing position. A counter surface for the mating surface is provided at the beginning of the guide for each bearing journal that has the mating surface. The insertion of the roller into the dispenser is only possible if the mating surface coincides with the counter surface, which extends to in the dispensing position. The roller is rotatably arranged about the central area of the supporting rod, which does not rotate in the dispensing position.
Sheet product dispenser
A sheet product dispenser includes a housing for accommodating a source of a sheet product and a dispenser opening for dispensing the sheet product. The dispenser opening is provided in a rotatable dispensing member. Rotation of the rotatable dispensing member is restricted to one rotating axis. The dispenser opening is offset from the rotating axis of the rotatable member. Rotation of the rotatable dispensing member results from a lateral force applied by a pulled sheet product strip onto the dispenser opening such that the dispenser opening moves as far as possible into a pulling direction so as to minimize an angle between the pulling direction and a dispensing direction of the dispenser opening.
Dispensing system, refill for a dispenser, and support bar for a dispenser roll
End plug for coreless paper rolls
An end plug for coreless paper rolls includes a central body. At least three resilient elements protrude from the central body and press resiliently against the interior of a paper roll when the end plug is inserted into an end of the paper roll, the radial extension of the resilient elements being influenced by rotation of the plug or a part thereof.
SUPPORT BAR AND ROLL ASSEMBLY WITH A CORELESS ROLL AND A SUPPORT BAR
A support bar has a central region for a material web wound to a coreless roll and a first and a rotatable second bearing journal each projecting beyond the roll. The support bar includes a first and a second part. The first part extends throughout the roll. A first end of the first part forms the first bearing journal. A second part, formed as a rotary body that is rotatable relative to the first part has a second end that forms the second bearing journal. A second end of the first part is formed with an axial bore and a first end of the second part is latched in the axial bore within the roll.
Dispenser for a center feed roll
A dispenser for a roll of web material, such as a center feed roll includes: a body having a first end wall provided with a dispensing opening for dispensing a leading end of the web material at the center of the roll, a second end wall opposite to the first end wall, and a sidewall connecting to the first and second end wall. The dispenser also includes a stabilizing device that is insertable into the roll to prevent the roll from collapsing towards its center. The stabilizing device includes a plurality of protrusions protruding from at least one of the first or second end wall towards the other of the first or second end wall, and the protrusions are disposed closer to the sidewall than to a center axis of the body.
