System and method for capturing audio or video data
Methods and systems for managing data storage strategies for continuous video segment recordings on a video recording device are disclosed. The data storage strategies include the detection of various trigger events and ending events detected from the video recordings or measurements detected from sensor devices that are included in the video recording device.
INFORMATION RECORDING DEVICE AND DATA ERASING METHOD
In an information recording device, when receiving an erase command by a receiver, a controller erases data of an erased area by overwriting data in an information area, to corrupt the data in the information area, using an erasing pattern. The erased area is specified by an erase start position and a size of the data to be erased on the optical disc. The data in the information area is arranged as partial data in a series of data arranged in a direction of internal parity of error correction so that correction is disabled in both of a correction processing by the internal parity of the error correction and a correction processing by external parity of the error correction when the data in the information area is overwritten using the erasing pattern.
Apparatus and method for recording and erasing user data on a recordable optical disc
An information recording apparatus includes: a first memory which stores synchronization data for updating data on a recordable optical disc and/or adding data to the recordable optical disc; a second memory which stores erasure information indicating data to be erased; and a controller which controls addition, update, and erasure of data on the optical disc. The controller records the synchronization data onto the optical disc. After recording the synchronization data, the controller records, onto the optical disc, management information indicating the state of the optical disc on which the synchronization data has been recorded and the state of the optical disc resulting from erasure according to the erasure information. Subsequently, the controller closes the session. After closing the session, the controller physically erases the data to be erased which has been recorded on the optical disc.
MAGNITEIC STRUCTURE FOR ERASING MEDIA HAVING HIGH MAGNETIC COERCIVITY
A magnet structure for a magnetic data storage medium erasing apparatus includes a first half comprising a first plurality of magnets arranged symmetrically, having polarization direction of adjacent magnets in quadrature and at an oblique angle with respect to a plane of symmetry. A second half comprises a second plurality of magnets arranged symmetrically, having polarization direction of adjacent magnets in quadrature and at an oblique angle with respect to the plane of symmetry. The second half is arranged symmetrically with respect to the first half, wherein the first half and the second half are separated by an air gap disposed about the plane of symmetry.
Video recording system and method
The present invention relates to a method of recording a video data stream, the method comprising: receiving a video data stream from a camera device; monitoring for an input from a user; in response to receipt of a first input from a user, commencing storage of the received video data stream in a data storage device; in response to receipt of a second input from a user, halting storage of the received video data stream in the data storage device;
in response to receipt of a third input from a user, halting storage of the received video data stream in the data storage device, deleting data stored in the data storage device since the last commencement of storage of the video data stream, and commencing further storage of the received video data stream in a data storage device. The present invention further relates to a video recording system for carrying out the aforementioned method.
INFORMATION RECORDING APPARATUS AND DATA ERASURE METHOD
COMMUNICATION APPARATUS, CONTROL METHOD FOR COMMUNICATION APPARATUS, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A communication apparatus including an audio capturing unit wirelessly communicate with an external apparatus and transmit captured audio data. The apparatus stores the captured audio data and control deletion of the store audio data according to a predetermined rule. In a case where a wireless communication state with the external apparatus relating to transmission of the captured audio data does not satisfy a predetermined condition, the apparatus performs control so that the stored audio data is not deleted according to the predetermined rule.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR INFORMATION CAPTURE
Disclosed herein are information capture systems and related methods. An information capture system includes a sensor secured to an object configured to be involved with a possible event. The sensor is configured to detect one or more stimuli that are associated with the possible event, and transmit a sensor signal indicating data corresponding to the one or more stimuli. The information capture system also includes a recording device configured to record information responsive to a triggering event determined from the sensor signal. A method includes analyzing sensor data from the sensor, determining, from the sensor data, that a triggering event occurred, and recording post-trigger information following the determination of the triggering event.
Information recording device and data erasing method
Upon receiving an erase command for data recorded in a write-once optical disc, an information recording device corrupts data in an information area (synchronization signal in Run-in, frame synchronization signal, address information and the like), in an erased area on the optical disc, in which information necessary for synchronization of reproducing data by overwriting the data in the information area with an erasing pattern. The erased area is specified by an erase starting position and a size of data to be erased. In this way, the information recording device erases the data in the erased area.
