A dispenser for dispensing a roll of material is disclosed. The dispenser includes a rear housing and an openable cover. The rear-housing includes a roll transfer apparatus for transferring the roll of material from a first dispensing position to a second dispensing position. The roll transfer apparatus includes a transfer arm engaged with a transfer disk and a transfer latch capable of engaging and disengaging the transfer disk to facilitate movement of the roll of material from a first dispensing position to a second dispensing position. Also disclosed are methods for replacing a roll of material in a dispenser.

Methods, systems and apparatus for dynamically adjusting product use reporting schedules for dispensers to increase or decrease the frequency of such reports based on expected product use such as a date the dispenser is expected to be depleted.

Systems, methods and apparatus for dispensing of paper products. A paper product dispenser comprising a housing comprising a back, two sides, and a product holding area defined by the back and two sides, wherein each of the two sides includes a vertical track and wherein one of the two sides is movably attached to the housing; and a support device configured to movably engage the vertical tracks of the first and second sides and to support a first roll and a second roll, vertically offset from one another, in the product holding area.

A resistance mechanism for a sheet product dispenser for dispensing a length of sheet product from a roll of sheet product rotatably supported by the sheet product dispenser is provided. The resistance mechanism includes an arm configured to frictionally engage a surface of the roll of sheet product, and a spring attached to the arm and configured to bias the arm into engagement with the surface of the roll of sheet product, such that the resistance mechanism provides a pull force resistance opposing a pull force applied to a tail portion of the roll of sheet product.

Dual roll sheet product dispensers of a compact design are provided herein. A sheet product dispenser comprises a first roll holder for a first product roll and a second roll holder for a second product roll. A housing includes a base portion and a cover that is movable relative to the base portion to define an open position and a closed position. A chassis is mounted between the first roll holder and the second roll holder and movable between a retracted position and an extended position. The chassis is movable to the extended position when the cover is in the open position. The chassis includes a first dispensing mechanism and a second dispensing mechanism.

A dispenser for sheet materials is disclosed. The dispenser includes a front plate assembly that allows for easy removal and replacement of the front plate for changing design elements and/or functionality. In one embodiment, the front plate is removably attachable to a back frame member and forms a flush fit with the back frame member when attached. The front plate can be disengaged from the back frame member by opening the dispenser housing and accessing push pins from an interior surface.

In one aspect, the present disclosure is directed to a dispenser assembly for dispensing supplies of sheet material. The dispensing assembly can include a carrier supporting the supplies of sheet material and being moveable along a track between various dispensing positions. The dispenser assembly also can include a carrier pivoting assembly with a lever that engages one of the supplies of sheet material and rotates during dispensing thereof, as well as one or more biased pins connected to the lever and configured to engage locking features provided along the track to support the carrier in one of the dispensing positions. The biased pins further can be configured to retract with rotation of the lever such that they disengage the locking features so the carrier to moves along the track to different dispensing position. A dispenser including two roll supports; and a housing, the dispenser configured such that the roll supports can assume the following positions relative to the housing: at least one dispensing position for a roll support of the two roll supports, and a storage position for a roll support of the two roll supports, the dispenser configured for allowing dispensing from a roll arranged on a roll support of the two roll supports which is in the dispensing position and for storage of a roll arranged on a roll support of the two roll supports which is in the storage position; the dispenser configured to provide a first state, wherein a first roll support of the roll supports is in the dispensing position and a second roll support of the roll supports is in the storage position, and a second state, wherein the second roll support is in a dispensing position.

A dispenser for sheet materials is disclosed. The dispenser includes a housing and a front cover. The dispenser includes a first internal door configured to secure a first roll of sheet material in a dispensing position and a second internal door configured to secure a second roll of sheet material in a dispensing position. The first and second doors include first and second nozzles for dispensing sheet material. The dispenser is a centrally unwinding dispenser.

An example sheet product dispenser includes a housing, a first roll holder, and a second roll holder. A first roll of sheet product is positioned on the first roll holder and assigned as a primary roll and a second roll of sheet product is positioned on the second roll holder and assigned as a secondary roll. A dispensing mechanism is configured to dispense sheet product from at least one of the first roll and the second roll. A sensor is configured to sense measurement data associated with the primary roll, including sensing when the primary roll rotates to dispense and measuring the diameter of the primary roll. A data communication device is in communication with the sensor and configured to transmit the measurement data. A controller is configured to determine situational information regarding the sheet product dispenser and provide corresponding alerts to users regarding the situational information and measured data.
