Supplemental content on a mobile device
Methods, systems, devices, and software are described for providing supplemental content for presentation on a mobile device that identifies a video and a portion within the video. In one embodiment, a system includes a mobile device with an integrated video camera that tracks a display playing a movie. The mobile device automatically identifies the current scene in the movie and then accesses supplemental non-video content related to the identified scene. The accessed supplemental non-video content (e.g., audio, tactile, olfactory data) is then presented to the user at the same time the movie is played.

Audio Playback Adjustment
A first playback device is configured to (i) place audio frames representative of audio content in a buffer, each frame including respective playback timing information identifying a time to play back the audio frame, (ii) transmit the audio frames in the buffer to a second playback device, (iii) receive a command to adjust playback of the audio content, (iv) based on the command, identify a range of audio frames previously transmitted, (v) select a new start time for the range of audio frames, (vi) cause the second playback device to update the playback timing information for each audio frame in the range based on the new start time, (vii) update, in the buffer, the playback timing information for each audio frame in the range based on the new start time, and (viii) play back the audio content in synchrony with the second playback device based on the updated playback timing information.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR CREATING AND USING VIDEO TAG
Provided is a method and system for creating and using a video tag. A method configured as a computer may include creating tagging information by connecting information about at least one partial playback section in an entire playback section of a video to a tag designated by a user; and storing the tagging information in association with the at least one partial playback section instead of storing the at least one partial playback section.
Method and system for interactive song generation
A method and system may provide for interactive song generation. In one aspect, a computer system may present options for selecting a background track. The computer system may generate suggested lyrics based on parameters entered by the user. User interface elements allow the computer system to receive input of lyrics. As the user inputs lyrics, the computer system may update its suggestions of lyrics based on the previously input lyrics. In addition, the computer system may generate proposed melodies to go with the lyrics and the background track. The user may select from among the melodies created for each portion of lyrics. The computer system may optionally generate a computer-synthesized vocal(s) or capture a vocal track of a human voice singing the song. The background track, lyrics, melodies, and vocals may be combined to produce a complete song without requiring musical training or experience by the user.
Annotation framework for video
A system and method for transferring annotations associated with a media file. An annotation associated with a media file is indexed to a first instance of that media file. By comparing features of the two instances, a mapping is created between the first instance of the media file and a second instance of the media file. The annotation can be indexed to the second instance using the mapping between the first and second instances. The annotation can be processed (displayed, stored, or modified) based on the index to the second instance.
