A server includes a case including a bottom board, a first lateral board and a second lateral board, a riser card provided with opposite two ends respectively disposed on the lateral boards, a HDD backplane electrically connected with the riser card, first HDDs disposed on the HDD backplane, a first main logic board electrically connected with the riser card, and a common carrier. The lateral boards are respectively located on opposite sides of the bottom board, and an accommodation space is formed between the lateral boards. The riser card divides the accommodation space into a two accommodation regions. The HDD backplane is disposed in a first accommodation region. The first main logic board is disposed in a second accommodation region, and the first HDDs is electrically connected with the first main logic board via the riser card. The common carrier is disposed in the second accommodation region.

A case module that is capable of installing a first electronic module and a second electronic module, includes a cage and a restraining component. The first electronic module can move relative to the cage to a first installation position along a first direction. The second electronic module can move relative to the cage to a second installation position along a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. When the first electronic module moves relative to the cage toward the first installation position along the first direction, the restraining component is driven to move relative to the cage toward a restraining position along the first direction. The second electronic module can be stopped by the restraining component when the restraining component is located at the restraining position.

STAGGERED DRIVE PLACEMENT

A front-access chassis for storage drives can be configured to store different drives in different orientations in a single group of drives. For example, drives in a disk group can be installed with two vertical drives followed immediately by four horizontal drives. Each chassis can include multiple disk groups. Thus, drives with certain functions can be easily and readily identified based on orientation. For example, system drives may be installed vertically whereas storage drives may be installed horizontally, permitting a user to quickly identify a desired drive at a glance.

Modularized multi-purpose storage system

An example system may comprise a network-attached storage device including a base station having a hardware interface including a drive port and a connectivity port; a modular storage drive attachable to and detachable from the drive port; and a modular wireless adapter attachable to and detachable from the connectivity port. The portable storage device is formable by detaching the modular storage drive and the modular wireless adapter from the hardware interface of the network-attached storage device, and coupling the modular storage drive and the modular wireless adapter to one another via a portable hardware interface. Further, a rechargeable modular power unit is removable from the base station and attachable to and detachable from a power port of the network-attached storage device.

The surface resistivity of a surface of the glass material of the glass spacer at 22 [ C.] is lower than the surface resistivity of an inner portion of the glass material at 22 [ C.]. The glass spacer contains at least one oxide selected from the group consisting of TiO.sub.2, Nb.sub.2O.sub.5, WO.sub.3, and Bi.sub.2O.sub.3, as a glass component.

Disk device

A disk device includes a top cover and a disk medium with a recording surface. The top cover includes a center horizontal portion having a surface which extends from a center point of the disk medium along the recording surface to an outer peripheral portion, a curved portion having a surface which extends from the outer peripheral portion of the center horizontal portion in a direction away from the recording surface, and an outer horizontal portion having a surface which extends from the curved portion in a direction away from the center point and along the recording surface. The recording surface includes a first zone in which data is set to be written, and a second zone in which data is set not to be written, the second zone being disposed adjacent to the first zone on an outer edge side of the disk medium from the first zone.

The present disclosure relates to a chassis and a heat sink for use in the chassis. Disks in rows are arranged in the chassis, and the heat sink comprises an air ingress channel extending from a first end of a housing of the chassis to a side portion of the disks away from the first end; an air egress channel extending from the first end to a second end opposite to the first end, the air egress channel being spaced apart from the air ingress channel by the disks; an intermediate channel comprised of gaps between the disks and fluidically communicating the air ingress channel with the air egress channel; and a fan disposed in the air egress channel and being operable to form a negative pressure in the air egress channel.

Flexible stacked up chassis

An adaptable chassis having an upper box chassis structure including a power supply. The upper box structure includes side walls to receive at least one component sled and registration features. A lower box structure includes side walls to receive at least one component sled. The lower box structure includes a registration feature to engage the registration feature of the first chassis structure. The lower box structure includes a power connector to obtain power from the power supply. The lower box structure may be replaced with large capacity structures when additional component sleds need to be added since the power supply resides in the upper box structure.

The present invention relates to a combined record player, wherein analog audio players are positioned on a top portion or a side portion of a cabinet, a digital audio player is positioned on a front portion of the cabinet, a first PCB is positioned on a front portion or a bottom portion of the cabinet, a second PCB is positioned on a rear portion of the cabinet, and an analog audio output interface is positioned on a rear surface of the cabinet; the first PCB contains an analog-to-digital signal converter, the second PCB contains a digital-to-analog signal converter, the analog audio players are electrically connected to the analog-to-digital signal converter, the digital audio player is electrically connected to the digital-to-analog signal converter, the analog-to-digital signal converter is electrically connected to the digital-to-analog signal converter, and the digital-to-analog signal converter is electrically connected to the analog audio output interface. The invention can integrate the analog audio players and the digital audio player within a cabinet where electrical wires between components in the cabinet do not interfere with each other and keep neat, and both the first PCB and the second PCB have a larger heat dissipation space.
