HOLDER FOR AEROSOL DELIVERY DEVICE WITH DETACHABLE CARTRIDGE
The present disclosure is directed to a holder of a smoking article comprising a receiving end and a mouth end opposite the receiving end. The holder defines a socket that is configured to receive a proximal section of a cartridge. The holder has a lighting configuration in which the holder is configured to secure a proximal section of the cartridge to the holder with a heat source of the cartridge opposite the proximal section disposed beyond the receiving end of the holder. The holder has a received configuration in which the holder is configured to secure the proximal section of the cartridge in the socket with the heat source disposed proximate the receiving end of the holder. The receiving end comprises a substantially solid outer wall.
SMOKE-FREE CIGARETTE
The present invention relates to a smoke-free cigarette comprising a heat source disposed in a container, a reservoir containing nicotine and/or one or mote flavouring agents, and a trigger mechanism for the heat source. According to the claimed invention, the cigarette has an outer shell defining a space in which the heat source and the reservoir are disposed, the outer shell and/or the wall of the container being made of aluminium and/or stainless steel or comprising one or more of these materials.

TEMPERATURE DETECTION FOR HEATING OR COMBUSTION TORCHES
A temperature sensing unit for a handheld heating and/or combustion torch includes a sleeve and a temperature sensor. The sleeve is configured to be removably installed around a handheld heating torch. The temperature sensor is positioned in alignment with a flame outlet of the handheld heating torch so that the temperature sensor can detect a temperature of a surface at which the flame outlet is oriented. The temperature sensing unit may also include a display and/or a battery. The battery can provide power to the display and/or the temperature sensor.

End piece for aerosol generating article
An end piece (200) for positioning over a heat source (102) of an aerosol generating article (100) includes a body (210) defining a bore configured to receive the aerosol generating article and includes a cage (220) configured to surround at least a portion of the heat source and to allow air to access the heat source. The end piece also includes a stop (240) arranged to engage a distal end (105) of the heat source as the aerosol generating article is slid through the bore. The stop is configured to prevent the distal end of the heat source from being advanced beyond the cage. The end piece may optionally include a seal (230) extending from an inner surface of the cage downstream of the stop. The seal is arranged to surround and contact the aerosol article to limit volatile compounds released from the heat source during combustion from entering air drawn through the aerosol generating article.
