Vac-canister
A vacuum-canister that combines the vacuum, dustpan, and trashcan all in one is disclosed herein. The vacuum-canister saves time by allowing the completion of multiple tasks simultaneously. The vacuum-canister can suction both large and small items. Small items are suctioned through the wand extension feature into the dust and trash filter bin. Some larger items can be suctioned through the dustpan and carried to the dust and trash filter bin. Other larger items that are not suctioned can be delivered to the trashcan automatically. The functionality of the vacuum-canister not only saves time, but also minimizes potential aches and pains as a result of daily manual cleaning activities.
Accessories for a surface treatment apparatus having a plurality of operational states and surface treatment apparatus configured to actuate the same
A surface treatment apparatus may include a coupling, a handle, an accessory coupled to the coupling, and a toggle proximate the handle. The accessory may have at least two operational states. An actuation of the toggle may cause the accessory to transition between operational states.
Dust collecting apparatus and cleaner having the same
A cleaner is provided. The cleaner includes a transfer device, and a dust collecting apparatus connectable to the transfer device and configured to filter out rubbish transferred from the transfer device. The dust collecting apparatus includes a housing in which a first dust chamber is formed, and including a guide recessed inwardly from an outer surface, a handle configured to be movable on the outside of the housing and provided to cover at least a portion of the guide, a first rubbish removal member configured to be movable inside the housing based on the movement of the handle, and configured to discharge rubbish collected in the first dust chamber, and a link configured to connect the handle to the first rubbish removal member, and having a movement guided by the guide.
SURFACE CLEANING APPARATUS
A surface cleaning apparatus has a housing defining at least part of a cyclone chamber and a pre-motor filter chamber. In one embodiment, the housing is pivotally mounted to the main body of a hand vacuum cleaner. The housing is moveable between an in use position and an emptying position, in which the cyclone chamber and the pre-motor filter are concurrently openable.
CLEANING APPARATUS HAVING VACUUM CLEANER AND DOCKING STATION
A cleaning apparatus may include a vacuum cleaner with a dust collecting chamber; and a dust collecting station that is connectable to the vacuum cleaner through a seating portion with an opening in the front of the dust collecting station so. A controller is configured to, when the dust collecting chamber is seated on the seating portion, control a driving device to open the dust collecting chamber so that the opening of the seating portion communicates with the dust collecting chamber opening, and control a suction device to suction foreign substances in the dust collecting chamber through the dust collecting chamber opening, and the opening of the seating portion, and into a dust bag in the dust collecting station. A panel at the front of the dust collecting station may be opened to provide an opening at the front of the dust collecting station through which the dust bag is withdrawable.
Surface cleaning apparatus
A surface cleaning apparatus has a suction motor actuator that is actuatable to actuate the suction motor to operate in a first mode of operation and to operate in a second mode of operation, the first mode of operation defining a first discrete power level for the suction motor and the second mode of operation defining a second discrete power level for the suction motor. The first mode of operation is enabled when the first power pack having a first level of power is provided to power the surface cleaning apparatus and the second mode of operation is not enabled until a second power pack is provided such that the surface cleaning apparatus has a second level of on board power that is greater than the first level of on board power.
CASTER LOCKING ARRANGEMENT AND SURFACE CLEANING DEVICE IMPLEMENTING SAME
A nozzle for use with a surface cleaning device is disclosed that includes a nozzle housing defining a dirty air inlet, at least a first caster coupled to the nozzle housing to allow for movement of the nozzle housing over a surface to be cleaned, and a caster locking arrangement coupled to the nozzle housing. The caster locking arrangement preferably includes at least a first locking member to transition the first caster between a locked configuration and an unlocked configuration, with the locked configuration limiting movement of the nozzle housing along a single axis during cleaning operations, and the unlocked configuration allowing for movement of the nozzle housing along a plurality of axes/directions during cleaning operations.
Cleaning device and lamp
A cleaning device is provided with at least removable lamp console. When the lamp console is attached, the device can be used as a floor or desk lamp to illuminate a room and/or a table-top. The lamp console is removable to enable the device and/or lamp console to be used as a cleaner to clean a floor or other cleaning surface. Each lamp console is provided with a coupling mechanism that enables selective and electro-mechanical communication with a coupling mechanism of a cleaning device. This coupling enables interchangeability of various lamp consoles. Embodiments provide for a lamp console that acts as a handle-extension. Further embodiments provide for a second illumination display disposed on a portion of the cleaning device.
SURFACE CLEANING APPARATUS
A hand vacuum cleaner has an air treatment member positioned in the air flow path downstream of a dirty air inlet. A motor and fan assembly produces an air flow through the air flow path. A handle is moveable between a first use position and a second use position.
HAND CARRYABLE SURFACE CLEANING APPARATUS
A hand vacuum cleaner has a cyclonic stage which comprises a stationary portion and an openable portion. The openable portion is rotatably mounted by a rotatable mount between a closed position in which a cyclone chamber is closed and an open position in which the cyclone chamber is open. The stationary portion comprises an upper portion of the first cyclonic stage and the openable portion comprises a lower portion of the first cyclonic stage. The rotatable mount is located at a rearward end of the openable portion.
