SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR A DATA DRIVEN FRAMEWORK FOR ACTIONABLE FEEDBACK IN INSULIN MANAGEMENT FOR TYPE 1 DIABETIC SUBJECTS ON ARTIFICIAL PANCREAS
20230138746 · 2023-05-04 ·

The present disclosure discloses a data science driven system and associated methodology framework for mining relevant knowledge from input/output traces of a closed-loop control system for glycemic control to aid in actionable feedback for Type 1 diabetes management. The framework takes Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM) records and insulin pump records from a closed loop control (CLC) system and interprets the CGM records and insulin pump data to provide medically useful information, wherein the closed-loop control system is operable for operation in an “auto mode” (AP) and a “manual mode” (SAP).

USING SENSORS AND LOCATION TO TRIGGER EVENTS AND SHARE DATA

Embodiments include a system for providing access to secured data; the system includes a processor configured to perform a method. The method includes receiving physiological data from one or more sensors on a wearable device; obtaining environmental data from the one or more sensors; storing the physiological data and the environmental data from the one or more sensors onto a secured storage device; receiving, by a transceiver, a request to access the physiological data; accessing, by a processor, a security profile for the physiological data, wherein the security profile defines a normal range for the physiological data and defines environmental data compliance; and providing access to the physiological data based upon a determination that the physiological data is outside the normal range for the physiological data and based upon a determination that the environmental data is in compliance with the security profile.

PATIENT-MONITORING DEVICES USING RFID TECHNOLOGY FOR USE IN PATIENT-MONITORING SYSTEMS
20230206013 · 2023-06-29 ·

A patient-monitoring device includes a sensor that includes a sensor identification and a removable pack that connects to and disconnects from the sensor. The removable pack includes a radio-frequency identification (RFID) tag that transmits a removable-pack identification and a memory that stores RFID data that is associated with the removable-pack identification. When the sensor is connected to a patient, the sensor senses patient data, and the patient-monitoring device communicates the patient data, the sensor identification, and the RFID data to a remote computer system.

Systems and methods for initial provisioning and refilling of medical devices

A system includes a medical device comprising a reader and a processor, and a storage medium containing a content. The reader is configured to read the content from the storage medium such that the processor switches the medical device from a first mode to a second mode based on the content. The processor or the reader is configured to interface with the storage medium based on the processor switching the medical device from the first mode to the second mode such that the content of the storage medium is deleted or scrambled. Once the content in the storage medium is erased or scrambled, it is no longer usable by the medical device until additional content has been loaded or programmed into the storage medium.
