Surface cleaning apparatus with different cleaning configuration
A reconfigurable surface cleaning apparatus has a surface cleaning head, a support structure moveably mounted to the surface cleaning head between a storage position and a floor cleaning position and a portable cleaning unit removably mountable to the support structure. The support structure has a pair of laterally extending portions and the portable cleaning unit has a first mounting member comprising mating grooves which slideably receive the laterally extending portions when the portable cleaning unit is mounted to the support structure.
Wand and hose assembly for a vacuum cleaner
A wand and hose assembly for a vacuum cleaner includes a suction wand fluidly connected to the end of a suction hose by a duct and the duct incorporates an articulating joint for allowing articulated movement of the suction wand relative to the end of the suction hose. The wand and the duct are arranged for telescopic sliding movement relative to one another, and the articulating joint is moveable into a position in which the wand can slide telescopically through the duct for retraction into the suction hose.
Surface cleaning apparatus
An upright surface cleaning apparatus comprises a surface cleaning head, an upright section and a rotatable mount. The upright section is moveably mounted to the surface cleaning head between a generally upright position and a rearwardly inclined in use position, the upright section has an air treatment member assembly, a push handle and a suction motor housing. The push handle has a longitudinally extending drive axis that extends through the air treatment member assembly and the suction motor housing. The rotatable mount rotatably mounts the upright section with respect to the surface cleaning head about an upright section axis wherein the rotatable mount underlies the upright section when the upright section is in the generally upright position.
Surface cleaning apparatus
A low profile upright surface cleaning apparatus comprises a surface cleaning head and an upright section moveably mounted to the surface cleaning head. The upright section comprises an air treatment member and a suction motor. Each lateral side of the upright section has a clean air outlet and post-motor porous filter media located upstream of the clean air outlet.
Surface cleaning apparatus
An upright surface cleaning apparatus has a surface cleaning head, a cleaning unit moveably mounted to the surface cleaning head between a generally upright position and a rearwardly inclined in use position and a push handle. The cleaning unit comprises a support structure and an air treatment member assembly, wherein the support structure is positioned rearward of a front face of the air treatment member assembly when the cleaning unit is in the generally upright position. The push handle comprises a longitudinally extending member and is mounted to the support structure and a portion of the air treatment member assembly extends rearward of the longitudinally extending member when the cleaning unit is in the generally upright position.
Surface cleaning apparatus
An upright surface cleaning apparatus may have a surface cleaning head with a central longitudinal axis extending between its front and rear ends. An upright section may be mounted to the surface cleaning head and may be moveable between a generally upright position and a rearwardly inclined in use position. The upright section may include an air treatment member assembly and a suction motor. The air treatment member assembly may include an air treatment member and a dirt collection region that is positioned laterally from the air treatment member. The suction motor may be positioned below at least one of the air treatment member and the dirt collection region. The first and second laterally opposed sides and one of the front side and the rear side of the air treatment member assembly may be generally rectangular in top plan view when the upright section is in the upright position.
SURFACE CLEANING APPARATUS
A portable surface cleaning apparatus for a floor surface includes a main housing assembly adapted to be hand carried by a user, the main housing assembly carrying a fluid delivery system adapted for storing cleaning fluid and delivering the cleaning fluid to the surface to be cleaned, and a fluid recovery system adapted for removing the cleaning fluid and debris from the surface to be cleaned and storing the cleaning fluid and debris that was recovered, the main housing assembly comprising a base housing, a supply tank received on the main housing assembly, a recovery tank received on the main housing assembly separately from the supply tank.
Surface cleaning apparatus
An upright surface cleaning apparatus comprises a surface cleaning head, a cleaning unit moveably mounted to the surface cleaning head between a generally upright position and a rearwardly inclined in use position, a push handle and an above floor cleaning assembly. The cleaning unit comprises an air treatment member and the push handle is rotatably mounted with respect to the cleaning unit. The above floor cleaning assembly comprises a flexible conduit having an inlet end and an outlet end, wherein in a floor cleaning mode a first portion of the flexible conduit having the outlet end is located on the second lateral side of the air treatment member and a second transverse portion of the flexible conduit extends from the second lateral side of the air treatment member over the upper end of the air treatment member to the first lateral side of the air treatment member wherein the second transverse portion is vertically spaced from the rotational joint.
Surface cleaning apparatus with different cleaning configurations
A surface cleaning apparatus comprises a floor cleaning unit comprising a surface cleaning head and an upright section moveably mounted to the surface cleaning head between a storage position and a floor cleaning position and a hand vacuum cleaner removably mounted to the upright section. The upright section is connected to the surface cleaning head by a rotatable coupling. When the surface cleaning unit is mounted to the upright section, the surface cleaning unit and the upright section define an upright assembly, the upright assembly having a handle wherein, when the upright assembly is in the inclined use position, the handle is steeringly connected to the surface cleaning head whereby a user may rotate the handle clockwise or counterclockwise with respect to the surface cleaning head to assist in steering the surface cleaning head.
Surface cleaning apparatus
A portable surface cleaning apparatus for a floor surface includes a recovery tank and a supply tank separated by a partition, and further includes a carry handle defining a handle grip spaced above the supply and recovery tanks, wherein the handle grip does not intersect the supply tank or the recovery tank.
