An upright surface cleaning apparatus comprises a surface cleaning head, an upright section and a rotatable mount. The upright section is moveably mounted to the surface cleaning head between a generally upright position and a rearwardly inclined in use position, the upright section has an air treatment member assembly, a push handle and a suction motor housing. The push handle has a longitudinally extending drive axis that extends through the air treatment member assembly and the suction motor housing. The rotatable mount rotatably mounts the upright section with respect to the surface cleaning head about an upright section axis wherein the rotatable mount underlies the upright section when the upright section is in the generally upright position.

A portable surface cleaning apparatus for a floor surface includes a recovery tank and a supply tank separated by a partition, and further includes a carry handle defining a handle grip spaced above the supply and recovery tanks, wherein the handle grip does not intersect the supply tank or the recovery tank.

Vacuum for use with modular storage system

A vacuum that couples to storage units is provided. The vacuum includes a motor, an internal compartment, and an inlet and outlet that provide fluid communication between the internal compartment and an exterior of the vacuum. The vacuum includes one or more mechanisms to protect internal components from water damage and to prevent debris from escaping the internal compartment when the vacuum is being transported.

Surface cleaning apparatus

A cleaning apparatus for a floor surface includes a recovery tank having a lower portion, an air/liquid separator for separating liquid from air in a debris-containing fluid, and a mechanical coupling removably coupling the air/liquid separator to the lower portion of the recovery tank, wherein the mechanical coupling permits selective detachment of the air/liquid separator from the recovery tank.

UPRIGHT VACUUM CLEANER

An upright vacuum cleaner comprising a vac-motor for drawing dirty air in through a floor-engaging cleaner head on the vacuum cleaner, a separating apparatus for separating dirt from the dirty air, an elongate air duct for carrying air to or from the separating apparatus, and a suction wand which is stored on the vacuum cleaner and which can be connected to the separating apparatus via a hose as required to clean above the floor. The external surface of the air duct defines an elongate recess for receiving the stored suction wand such that the air duct partly surrounds the stored wand. This provides a compact configuration.
