FLOOR BRUSH ASSEMBLY FOR VACUUM CLEANER AND VACUUM CLEANER
Provided is a floor brush assembly for a vacuum cleaner. The floor brush assembly includes a roller brush component and a driving mechanism. A roller brush body of the roller brush component is rotatably mounted in a sleeve. The roller brush body is provided with bristles arranged in an elongated shape to form a bristle portion. The sleeve of the roller brush component has an avoidance opening of an elongated shape, and the bristle portion and the avoidance opening are arranged to directly face towards each other in a radial direction of the roller brush body. A first driving member of the driving mechanism is configured to drive the roller brush body to rotate, and a second driving member is configured to drive the sleeve to rotate. The first driving member and the second driving member are eccentrically arranged to allow the bristle portion to be selectively extended or retracted through the avoidance opening.
Edge cleaning brushes for floor cleaner
A surface cleaning apparatus can include a housing adapted to move across a surface to be cleaned, an edge brush, and a brushroll driven by a brush motor. The edge brush is connectable with a drive coupling for rotating the edge brush, and is indirectly driven by the brush motor via the brushroll. In one aspect, the edge brush and drive coupling comprise a modular unit removably coupled to the housing. In another aspect, the drive coupling can include a worm and a belt.
CLEANER HEAD
A cleaner head for a vacuum cleaner, the cleaner head being configured to apply suction to a horizontal surface to be cleaned by the vacuum cleaner, wherein the cleaner head includes: first and second agitator elements each being mounted for rotation about a respective axis. Each agitator element includes a first, free end and a second end, each agitator element has a shape which tapers towards the first end in a direction along the axis of rotation, the first and second agitator elements are cantilevered from opposing sides of a hub portion of the cleaner head at their respective second ends, and each agitator element is arranged such that the position of the axis at the first end of each agitator element is further forwards than the position of the axis at the second end of each agitator element.
VACUUM CLEANER
A vacuum cleaner of the present disclosure includes a cleaner body having a suction motor provided inside thereof and a handle provided outside thereof, and a suction nozzle connected to the cleaner body, wherein the suction nozzle includes a housing having at least part of a front portion opened, and a rotary cleaning unit disposed inside the housing, having at least part thereof exposed through the opening of the housing, and configured to clean a floor by a rotating operation, wherein the rotary cleaning unit includes a cylindrical nozzle body rotatably installed inside the housing, and fiber filaments and metal filaments disposed on an outer circumferential surface of the nozzle body.
CLEANER HEAD
A cleaner head (20) for a vacuum cleaner (2), the cleaner head comprising: a housing (32) defining a suction chamber comprising an outlet (34); and an agitator element (22, 24) being mounted for rotation about an axis (R1, R2), wherein: the agitator element comprises a first, free end (26a, 26b) and a second end (28a, 28b), the agitator element has a shape which tapers towards the first end in a direction along the axis of rotation, the agitator element is cantilevered from a portion (30) of the cleaner head at the second end, and the housing comprises a side opening (36) in the housing, adjacent the first end of the agitator element.
Vacuum cleaner
A vacuum cleaner to suction dust by applying vibration includes a motor, an eccentric load applied to a rotating shaft of the motor which when rotated by a rotation of the rotating shaft produces vibration force, a vibration plate to apply the vibration force to an object to be cleaned, and a vibration transfer member to transfer vibration force to the vibration plate.
Nozzle for a vacuum cleaner and vacuum cleaner
A nozzle for a vacuum cleaner and a vacuum cleaner are provided. The nozzle may include a main nozzle; at least one movable nozzle rotatably coupled to the main nozzle; and a rotary cleaner provided inside of the main nozzle and the movable nozzle that cleans a floor surface using a rotary motion. The rotary cleaner may include a main shaft rotatably provided inside of the main nozzle, and at least one auxiliary shaft provided inside of the movable nozzle and connected to the main shaft. The at least one auxiliary shaft may rotate using a rotational force transmitted from the main shaft.
NOZZLE FOR CLEANER
A nozzle includes: a housing having a chamber formed in the housing and a front opening formed on a front side of the housing; a rotation cleaning part accommodated in the chamber and to clean a floor; a partition member provided in the chamber to partition the chamber into two areas and of which at least a portion is in contact with the rotation cleaning part; a driving unit to rotate the rotation cleaning part; and a connection tube connected to the housing and configured to transfer air introduced through the front opening to a dust container of the cleaner, wherein a lower passage formed below the rotation cleaning part and an upper passage formed above the rotation cleaning part are provided in the chamber, and a portion of the partition member is recessed to define the upper passages.
SWAPPABLE BRUSHROLL OR CASSETTE FOR VACUUM CLEANER
A vacuum cleaner includes a nozzle assembly at a distal end of the vacuum cleaner. The nozzle assembly has a base unit. The vacuum cleaner also includes a handle at a proximal end of the vacuum cleaner, a waste receptacle, a motor configured to draw air through the nozzle assembly and into the waste receptacle, and a mechanical motor disposed on the nozzle assembly. An agitation member can be detachably coupled to the base unit with a cover over the agitation member and fixed to the base unit. The agitation member may also be part of a cassette along with the cover, such that the entire cassette is detachably coupled to the base unit.
Cleaning head
A cleaning head connectable to a vacuum cleaner comprises a cassette removeably mountable on the cleaning head. A rotatable bar has projecting cleaning elements engageable with a surface to be cleaned and the rotatable bar is removeably mountable in the cassette.
