Device for removing foreign objects from nuclear reactor vessel
A device for removing foreign objects from nuclear reactor vessel includes a suction pipe; a suction opening structure disposed at a lower end of the suction pipe, an electric valve disposed at a connection of the suction pipe and the suction opening structure, a filter mesh and a suction pump sequentially located in the suction pipe and above the electric valve. The suction opening structure has a suction opening thereon, a water inlet of the suction pump is communicated with the suction opening, and a water outlet of the suction pump is communicated with the outside space of the suction pipe though a drainage pipe. The device further includes a touch switch disposed on the filter mesh which is in operative connection with the electric valve. A foreign object impact force to the filter mesh triggers the touch switch to close which causes the electric valve to close.
Manipulator apparatus for processing pressure vessels
Apparatus for moving one or more processing devices relative to an object to be processed, comprising: first and second mounting units configured to be secured in a fixed position relative to the object to be processed and between which one or more tension members are mounted under tension; one or more carriages respectively connected to the one or more tension members, each of the carriages configured to accommodate a respective processing device; and a drive unit configured to move the one or more tension members so as to move the one or more carriages relative to the object.
Inspection device
There is provided an inspection device for inspecting an inner surface of a nozzle provided in a reactor vessel. The inspection device includes: a device frame, an inspection unit provided on the device frame, an inspection unit push-out moving mechanism for pushing out and moving the inspection unit to the inner surface of the nozzle, a rotation moving mechanism for rotating and moving the inspection unit, a calibration test unit arranged on the device frame for calibrating the inspection unit; and a calibration test unit forward/backward moving mechanism for moving the calibration test unit forward or backward in the direction along the central axis with regard to a track where the inspection unit makes push-out movement.

Nuclear instrumentation system and method for locating the same
A nuclear instrumentation system includes a source range channel, an intermediate range channel, and a power range channel. Each channel includes one detector installed around the pressure vessel. The detectors of the power range channel and the intermediate range channel both include several fission chambers. The detectors of the intermediate range channel and power range channel share several fission chambers. Since some detectors employ fission chambers, the Gamma radiation resistance property, anti-noise property, and anti-electromagnetic interference property are improved. Sharing fission chambers reduces the number of detectors to be installed, thus relieving the installation workload and the positioning of a follow-up detector. Further, the system increases the number of some channels, which increases redundancy and improves system reliability.

METHODS, SYSTEMS, AND APPARATUS FOR USE IN MAIN PIPES CONNECTED TO BRANCH CONDUIT
A pipe rehabilitation system and/or robot can be used inside a pipe to measure characteristics of branch conduits, install plugs into branch conduits before the pipe is lined with a liner, remove portions of plugs and liners after lining to restore fluid communication between the pipe and branch conduits, and/or install fittings into the branch conduits to connect the liner to the branch conduits. A probe can measure characteristics of a branch conduit. A tool can install plugs and/or fittings into the branch conduits. A linkage can connect a tool to a robotic tractor so that the connected elements can navigate through a main pipe. A visualization system can aid in aligning a robot with a branch conduit. Height-adjustable braces can support robotic tools in a pipe. A plug can include integrated locating features and/or movable parts that enable expanding the plug to seal with the branch conduit.
