SMOKING CESSATION DEVICE AND METHOD
20210282468 · 2021-09-16 ·

A smoking cessation device that utilizes a structured, flexible tube similar in size and shape to a standard cigarette. The tube is impregnated with flavored oils for the enjoyment of the user. The method of producing the smoking cessation device is performed by mixing the flavored oil with a high-proof alcohol and spraying the mixture onto the tube. After the alcohol evaporates, the tube retains the flavored oils, providing a pleasant taste to the user. A user can use the smoking cessation device by biting and or chewing on the end of it to restrict air flow making it feel similar to a cigarette.

AEROSOL GENERATING ARTICLE WITH RETRACTABLE HEAT SOURCE
20210052011 · 2021-02-25 ·

An aerosol generating article (100) having a proximal end (102) and a distal end (104), comprising an inner tubular element (105) having a mouthpiece end (107) and an opposed heat source end positioned at the distal end of the aerosol generating article, and an outer tubular element (130) extending from the proximal end of the aerosol generating article towards the distal end thereof. The inner tubular element comprises an inner wrapping sheet (109) circumscribing, in a co-axial arrangement: a combustible heat source (115) positioned towards the distal end of the aerosol generating article; an aerosol-forming substrate (120) downstream of the combustible heat source; and, typically, a void space (125) between the aerosol-forming substrate and the mouthpiece end. The outer tubular element typically circumscribes at least the mouthpiece end of the inner tubular element and the void space and terminates downstream of the heat source. The inner wrapping sheet includes a pre-twisted portion (109b) at least in the region circumscribing the void space. The arrangement provides that the distal end including the combustible heat source and the aerosol-forming substrate is readily slideable relative to the outer tubular element from an extended position having a first article length (L1), to a retracted position having a second article length (L2) that is less than the first article length and in which the void space is at least partially collapsed to an axially contracted configuration.

ELECTRONIC CIGARETTE CARTRIDGE TUBE AND METHOD FOR PREPARING THE SAME
20210045446 · 2021-02-18 ·

An electronic cigarette cartridge tube and a method for preparing the same is introduced herein. Both of a filter tip and a cartridge container of the electronic cigarette cartridge tube are made respectively by consistent-and-continuous production machines used with a pulp-molding fabrication approach which is researched and improved, thereby integrally forming a solid geometrical shape of any one of the filter tip and the cartridge container. It can not only resolve the technical problems of the existing pulp-molding fabrication method that is incapable of producing a component (e.g. a cylinder-shaped longitudinal filter tip or cartridge container) of a cylinder-shaped lengthwise electronic cigarette cartridge tube, having a ratio, greater than one, of a maximum longitudinal height thereof being relative to a maximum transverse width thereof, but can also save its working cycle time, benefit its mass production, and assure its higher product yield and quality.

A filter part (1, 1) for use in an aerosol generating article and a method of manufacturing the filter part (1, 1). The filter part (1, 1) includes an aerosol permeable core (2) within a sleeve (3) formed integrally therearound. The core (2) is shorter than the integrally formed sleeve (3). The method includes conveying a plurality of aerosol permeable cores (2) along a conveying path at a first speed (S1) and forming a sleeve (3) around each core (2) at a second speed (S2). The second speed (S2) is greater than the first speed (S1) to generate a space between consecutive cores (2) within the sleeve (3).
