A hand vacuum cleaner comprises a cyclone, a conical pre-motor filter that is positioned rearward of the cyclone and a suction motor. The pre-motor filter has a front end that faces that faces towards the cyclone air outlet. The conical pre-motor filter has an open interior volume, an outer surface, which is an upstream surface of the pre-motor filter, and an inner surface, which is a downstream surface of the pre-motor filter.
VACUUM CLEANER
A vacuum cleaner includes a filtration chamber with an inner wall and an outer wall, an air inlet arranged to feed air carrying dust particles into the space between the inner wall and outer wall of the filtration chamber and a dirt chute for discharging dirt and/or dust from the vacuum cleaner. A tapered filter is located between the inner wall and the outer wall of the filtration chamber. The tapered filter includes a narrow end and a wide end, and the narrow end of the filter is located at or proximate to the air inlet and/or the dirt chute.

The present disclosure relates to a vacuum cleaner for separating and collecting dust and other contaminants by using a multi-cyclone and a mesh filter, including a cleaning unit for sweeping dust and foreign materials attached to the mesh filter along an outer circumferential surface of the mesh filter, and a rotation unit coupled to the cleaning unit for rotating the cleaning unit relative to the mesh filter, whereby the cleaning unit can clean a surface of the filter automatically or manually during an operation of the cleaner, so that the filter surface can be kept clean, and a load on a fan unit caused due to foreign materials or dust can be reduced.

A changeover valve includes: a valve body and an internal-communication air duct and a driving device arranged in the valve body; wherein the valve body is connected with a housing of a vacuum cleaner, the housing is provided with a ventilation opening, an air inlet duct for driven inlet air and an air outlet duct for driven outlet air, the ventilation opening is provided with a filter element, a first end of the internal-communication air duct is connected with the ventilation opening, an outer side of the internal-communication air duct is connected with the driving device, so that the driving device drives a second end of the internal-communication air duct to rotate by a preset angle, the second end of the internal-communication air duct is connected at the air inlet duct and the air outlet duct communicates with the external space.
SURFACE CLEANING APPARATUS
A hand vacuum cleaner has a cyclone assembly comprising a cyclone and a dirt collection chamber. The cyclone assembly has a cyclone assembly axis extending centrally between a front end of the cyclone assembly and a rear end of the cyclone assembly. The cyclone has a horizontally extending cyclone axis and the dirt collection chamber has a lower end which is at a lower elevation than a lower end of the cyclone chamber. A line that extends in a common direction with the cyclone assembly axis intersects the dirt collection chamber at an elevation below the cyclone chamber, a pre-motor filter and a handle of the hand vacuum cleaner.
VACUUM CLEANER
A vacuum cleaner including a separator assembly having a container that defines a cyclonic separator about a separator axis. The container having a dirty air inlet that receives the airflow and debris to rotate around the separator axis in a first direction. A clean air outlet discharges the airflow from the separator assembly. A shroud forming an airflow passageway is between the dirty air inlet and the clean air outlet. The airflow passageway is formed by a plurality of vanes defining openings between adjacent vanes positioned to direct the airflow and debris in a second direction at least partially opposed to the first direction redirecting airflow into the shroud. A mesh screen is positioned on the shroud covering the airflow passageway and a filter at least partially within the shroud extends around the separator axis positioned in an airflow path between the plurality of vanes and the clean air outlet.
