The pin may be slidably engaged with the one or more probes and include a first end configured for insertion into the aperture in the component such that the one or more probes are configured to contact a second surface of the component. The pin may be configured to move between a first position and a second position. An axis of the pin may be substantially aligned with an axis of the tip. The measurement device may be coupled to the tip and configured to measure a value indicating a grip length.
ECU DEVICE, VEHICLE SEAT, SYSTEM FOR ESTIMATING LOWER LIMB LENGTH OF SEATED PERSON, AND ATTACHMENT STRUCTURE FOR SITTING HEIGHT DETECTION SENSOR
Provided is an ECU device for estimating a length of the lower limbs of a seated person seated on a vehicle seat, the ECU device comprising: a thigh angle information acquisition means for acquiring information pertaining to a thigh angle (θ) of the seated person; a back-of-knee angle information acquisition means for acquiring information pertaining to a back-of-knee angle (φ) of the seated person; and an estimation means for estimating a length (z) of the lower limbs of the seated person on the basis of the information pertaining to the thigh angle (θ) acquired by the thigh angle information acquisition means and the information pertaining to the back-of-knee angle (φ) acquired by the back-of-knee angle information acquisition means. Through this configuration, the length of the lower limbs of a seated person seated on a vehicle seat can be accurately estimated.
INTERNAL INSPECTION DEVICE FOR DETERMINING A LENGTH OF A TUBULAR GOOD
This internal inspection device is for determining a length and inner diameter of a tubular good. The internal inspection device includes a first positioning sensor, a second positioning sensor spaced axially from the first positioning sensor, a displacement sensor the displacement of the internal inspection device inside the tubular good between two positions sensed by the respective positioning sensors, the internal inspection device further including a electronic arranged to computing the length of the tubular good by adding a distance measured by the displacement sensor and a predetermined length.
APPARATUS FOR MEASUREMENT OF A LIMB CIRCUMFERENCE, A DEVICE FOR MEASUREMENT OF A LIMB COMPLIANCE COMPRISING THE SAME AND A DEVICE USED IN THE TREATMENT OF LYMPHEDEMA COMPRISING THE SAME
The present invention provides an apparatus for measurement of a limb circumference, comprising a pull string module, a first measurement module and a second measurement module. The pull string module comprises a surrounding component, wherein the surrounding component comprises an encircling part disposed around a limb of an individual; the first measurement module is disposed at the pull string module and moves alone the longitudinal axis of the limb and meanwhile measures the length of the limb; and the second measurement module measures the length of the encircling part simultaneously when the first measurement module move alone the limb, so as to determine the correlation between the limb length and the limb circumference. The present invention further provides a device including two or more apparatuses of the present invention to measure the limb compliance and to be used in the treatment of lymphedema.
DRAW WIRE SENSOR
A draw wire sensor which measures distance. The draw wire sensor comprising: a reel, shaft or axle; a wire wound up on the reel, shaft or axle; and a rotational sensor coupled to the reel, shaft or axle. A rotation angle of the sensor is transformed into an electrical signal and the rotational sensor utilizes the tunnel magnetoresistance effect.
AGRICULTURAL BALER WITH FLAKE PREDICTION FOR BALE LENGTH CONTROL
An agricultural baler includes a main bale chamber in which crop material is compressed into bales. The main bale chamber includes an inlet for receiving a wad of crop material from a pre-compression chamber of the agricultural baler, and an outlet for discharge of compressed crop material into a bale. The bale includes a plurality of flakes that are incrementally added to form the bale. A bale length sensor is configured to determine a current length of the bale as the bale is being formed in the main bale chamber. A controller is configured to estimate a completed length of the bale during formation of the bale based on (i) the current length of the bale being formed and (ii) a predicted thickness of an impending flake to be added to the bale.
Configurable Feedstock Measurement Device
In accordance with one embodiment of the present invention, there is provided a device for measuring length of feedstock being fed to a tool operated directly by a user. The device includes a body, configured to be removably attached to the tool. The device also includes a display, mounted in the body, and visually accessible to the user. The device also includes a measurement wheel mechanically mounted to the body and configured to be mechanically biased to the feedstock under a condition wherein the body is attached to the tool. The device also includes an encoder coupled to the measurement wheel and configured to generate a signal indicative of angular position of the wheel. The device further includes a processor, disposed in the body, coupled to the encoder and the display and configured to cause the display to show a measure indicative of a length of the feedstock that has been fed to the tool.
Device to calculate and display remaining length of a coiled product
An inventory management device wherein the user inputs a material of known characteristics such as weight, thickness, and width, or length into a computer via user interface. The device calculates the length of the material and displays the remaining coiled length on a display screen. When the user is ready to feed the material, the material is rolled over a feed wheel, which turns a measure wheel. The measure wheel communicates with a computer control chip to deduct the quantity fed off the coil. The actual remaining length is shown on the display screen in real time or near real time. When the user is finished working with the material, the user can select to print a label with a barcode to affix to the material. The barcode contains characteristics of the material so the material can be inventoried and/or reused on the feeder.
Top Dead Center Gauge Set
Improvements in a mechanism that determines top dead center of an internal combustion engine where detecting the top of the stroke can be difficult to determine as the crank is being rotated. The gauge set mounts into a spark plug or fuel injector hole. These holes are usually a tapped hole where the piston position gauge can be threaded into, to provide a stable and concentric mount where the measurement pin passes through the exterior threaded shaft of the mount. A pin extends into the cylinder to determine when the piston is approaching and at the top of the cylinder. The mount is an elongated stalk that allows for additional cam gauges where the cam gauges can be mounted and linearly adjustable on the single stalk. The measurement is with dial indicators so a user can measure three varying engine parts to determine the top-dead-center.
