A hand-held surface cleaning device consistent with aspects of the present disclosure includes a body (or body portion) with a motor, power source and dust cup disposed therein. The body portion also functions as a handgrip to allow the hand-held surface cleaning device to be operated by one hand, for example.

A debris receptacle for a router table includes an enclosure configured to be attached to the router table. The enclosure defines an interior sized and shaped to receive a router. The enclosure defines a debris inlet aperture in fluid communication with a router bit aperture of the work platform so that the interior receives the debris from router bit aperture via the debris inlet aperture. The enclosure also defines a debris outlet aperture in fluid communication with a dust collector to remove debris from the interior. The enclosure further defines an air inlet aperture in fluid communication with air in an environment outside the enclosure. The debris receptacle also includes an air intake conduit for fluidly coupling the air inlet aperture to an air inlet of the router, thereby enabling the router to draw air into the router from the environment outside the enclosure to cool the router.

A debris receptacle for a router table includes an enclosure configured to be attached to the router table. The enclosure defines an interior sized and shaped to receive a router. The enclosure defines a debris inlet aperture in fluid communication with a router bit aperture of the work platform so that the interior receives the debris from router bit aperture via the debris inlet aperture. A hand vacuum cleaner has a housing comprising a first portion that houses a suction motor. A cyclone unit is positioned in an air flow passage upstream from the suction motor. The cyclone unit comprises a cyclone and a dirt collection region that is positioned forward of the cyclone. The cyclone unit front end has an openable door. The cyclone air outlet comprises an assembly which includes a screen. The assembly is moveable relative to the cyclone unit sidewall in a common direction with the cyclone axis of rotation whereby the assembly and the sidewall are separable from each other in a forward direction.

A hand vacuum cleaner has a dirt separator comprising a first air treatment stage and a second air treatment stage, the first air treatment stage comprising a first air treatment chamber and the second air treatment stage comprises a second stage air treatment chamber. An openable door opens the first air treatment chamber when the door is in an open position.
