VACCUM CLEANER
A vacuum cleaner comprising: a cleaner main body configured to generate suction power; and a suction unit configured to suck dust using the suction power. The suction unit comprising: a drum brush comprising a cylindrical drum rotatable to brush away dust from a floor, and conductive bristles provided on an outer circumferential surface of the drum; and a conductive dust guide unit comprising a guide portion connectable to the cleaner main body and configured to guide the sucked dust to be transferred to the cleaner main body, and a contact portion formed to extend from the guide portion, provided to be in contact with the bristles of the drum brush, and configured to transfer static electricity, which is charged as the vacuum cleaner is operated, from the cleaner main body to the conductive bristles of the drum brush.
Hose valve sub-assembly apparatus and method for retractable hose vacuum systems
A hose valve sub-assembly designed for use in central vacuum cleaning systems that include a retractable suction hose. The hose valve sub-assembly comprises an end nozzle arranged for attachment with the end of a suction hose and a seal-ring arranged for attachment to a valve box. The seal-ring defines a radially disposed inner surface for receiving and engaging the end nozzle and comprises a radially biased pin for locking the end nozzle the seal-ring. The end nozzle comprises a radially disposed O-ring groove arranged to receive an O-ring for sealing the end nozzle to the inner surface of the seal-ring. The end nozzle also comprises a radially disposed locking track having a first end that defines a first opening arranged to receive and engage the biased pin of the seal ring when the suction hose is pulled through the system vacuum pipe. The locking track includes an opposing second end that defines a second opening arranged to receive the biased pin of the seal ring when the vacuum suction hose is inserted through the valve box, into the seal-ring. With this configuration, the end nozzle is rotatable from a first disengaged position where the biased pin is adjacent one of the two openings, to a second locked position where the biased pin is in the locking track of the end nozzle, between the first opening and second opening.
Telescopic conductive tube
A telescopic conductive tube is provided in the present application, including a telescopic assembly and a conductive assembly, wherein the telescopic assembly is provided with a first tube body and a second tube body relatively telescopic to the first tube body, and the conductive assembly is installed along the outside of the first and second tube body, wherein the conductive assembly includes a conductive wire, a receiving aluminum tube, an electrical connecting head, a conductive copper sheet, and an insulated guide rail, wherein the conductive wire is electrically connected with an elastic contact protruding from the inside to the outside of the electrical connecting head, the electrical connecting head being electrically connected to the conductive copper sheet, and the electrical connecting head and the conductive copper sheet being capable of sliding relatively and maintaining electrical connection.
Dust collector with convenient loading and unloading dust collecting barrel
A dust collector with convenient loading and unloading dust collecting barrel includes a base plate fixed on an outer periphery of a bottom of an air guide cylinder, an operation unit whose end is pivotally arranged on the base plate, linking members disposed on said operation unit and connected to a dust collecting barrel lid located under the air guide tube. Accordingly, when a user lifts up the operation unit, the linking members move the dust collecting barrel lid upwards. The upward movement separates the dust collecting barrel lid from the dust collecting barrel, so the dust collecting barrel is easily detached. The action of swinging the operation unit swings down allows the linking members to move the dust collecting barrel lid downwards, so the dust collecting barrel lid closes the dust collecting barrel. Therefore, the user loads and unloads the dust collecting barrel quickly and conveniently.
Vacuum cleaner
A vacuum cleaner includes a first tube and a second tube positioned within the first tube, where a first end of the first tube is connected to an outlet of the backbone and a first end of the second tube connected to an inlet of the backbone. A handle is on the first end of the first tube. When the backbone is in a retracted position the first end of the first tube surrounds the second end of the second tube, the second end of the second tube obstructs the outlet of the backbone, and the second end of the first tube surrounds the first end of the second tube. When the backbone is in an extended position the second end of the first tube aligns with the second end of the second tube, leaving the outlet of the backbone unobstructed to a dustcup. A floor nozzle is connected to the inlet of the backbone and includes a nozzle motor configured to operate a brush roll axle and a casing that provides an airpath to the inlet of the backbone.
Suction tool and electric vacuum cleaner
A suction tool includes: a hollow cylindrical main pipe having: a rear end side connected to a vacuum cleaner main body; a front end portion in which a main suction port is formed; and a hollow cylindrical sub pipe having: a rear end side at which an inside of the hollow cylindrical sub pipe communicates with an inside of the main pipe; and a front end portion in which a sub suction port is formed. The sub pipe is movable between a retracted position in which the front end portion of the sub pipe is arranged so as to be retracted from the front end portion of the main pipe, and a use position in which the front end portion of the sub pipe is arranged so as to protrude from the front end portion of the main pipe along an axial direction of the main pipe.
FLEXIBLE HOSE WITH COMPACT STORAGE CONFIGURATION AND A CLEANING APPARATUS USING THE SAME
A flexible hose for use with surface cleaning devices is disclosed that includes a support structure that allows a user to collapse and lock the same into a storage configuration, and then easily unlock the same using a relatively minor amount of force, e.g., a user-applied pulling force or mechanical force. Thus, in a general sense, a hose consistent with the present disclosure may include two relatively stable/steady-state configurations, namely a storage configuration and an in-use configuration. Thus, the hose allows a user to collapse and lock the hose when not in use, and to transition the hose to an in-use configuration to target various types of surfaces to clean including, for instance, floors, walls and ceilings which may be many feet (e.g., up to 5 feet or more) from the surface cleaning apparatus.
Central vacuum system and inlet valves therefor
A central vacuum cleaning system includes an inlet valve mounted at various locations in a structure or RV and connected to the inlet end of a vacuum conduit. A section of hose is slidably mounted within the conduit and extends from the inlet valve for cleaning an adjacent area. The hose includes a hose plug connected with a distal end of the hose. The hose plug includes an annular channel and an orthogonally aligned slot. The hose plug may also include a first seal and a second seal.
Anti-rotational telescopic pole
A cleaning tool comprising an extendable pole of two or more telescoping tubular members of a non-circular cross-section and having locking-clamping devices with the same form of noncircular cross-section. The telescoping tubular members are connected together through a clamping device, wherein one open end of the clamping device comprises an internal surface matching an external surface of a thicker tubular member and the second end of the clamping device comprises an internal surface and further comprises a notch extending through the length of the second end of the clamping device, and a lever mechanism, wherein the second end of the clamping device is arranged for diameter reduction upon performing a clamping action with said lever. The free end of the thinnest tubular member comprises means for attaching a cleaning tool.
