A vacuum cleaner having a profile arrangement with a profile having a first profile part and a second profile part. The second profile part is arranged to at least partly enclose the first profile part and the first profile part is slidable into the second profile part for adjustment of a length of the profile. The housing is moveably attached to the profile, such that the housing is moveable along at least a part of the length of the profile.

A robot cleaner station includes a cleaner docking portion to which a robot cleaner is docked and including an suction port in communication with a dust collector of the robot cleaner when the robot clear is docked to the cleaner docking portion, a collector including a collection chamber in which dust sucked from the dust collector through the suction port is collected, and a station suction device configured to generate a suction force to suck the dust from the dust collector to the collection chamber, and a connector configured to connect the suction port to the collection chamber. The connector includes a guide portion in communication with the suction port, a suction tube provided in the collection chamber to allow the dust which is guided by the guide portion to be sucked to the collection chamber, and a connection hose configured to connect the guide portion to the suction tube.

A vacuum cleaner comprising: a suction device; an extendable inlet nozzle in fluid communication with the suction device, the extendable inlet nozzle being extendable from a first operable position to a second operable position; a proximity sensor for detecting a surface; and a controller configured to change the suction power of the suction device in dependence on a signal from the proximity sensor and in dependence on the position of the extendable inlet nozzle.

An improved wet/dry vacuum device is provided. The device comprises features for enhancing the portability, mobility and usefulness of existing wet/dry vacuums and canister vacuum devices. Features of devices of the present disclosure include, but are not limited to, hose storage features, accessory storage features, and power cord management features.

A boom hose apparatus for a material collection vehicle includes a telescoping boom assembly and a hose assembly supported by the boom assembly. The boom assembly includes a plurality of telescoping conduits. A flexible hose is received through the telescoping conduits and can slidably extend from, or retract into, the conduits independently from the telescoping of the conduits.

A vacuum dusting attachment comprised of a telescoping brush head on a semi-flexible mounted base, centrally positioned over a disk-shaped piece featuring open apertures for dust collection and edged with lighting, of which the disk's backside narrows to provide a bendable, cushioned, ergonomically designed area for a pinch hold for index and thumb, circumferentially widening to contain a battery chamber for the lighting, extending into a cushioned hand hold area with added non-slippage features, internal friction end to attach to another device or vacuum source hose/wand. An additional independent accordion hose extension vacuum attachment for use with aforesaid dusting attachment or other device, of which the accordion hose is sandwiched between a grip disk and handle allowing to manipulate the hose to desired lengths and bends to reach distant target areas, and collapsing for minimal storage space.

A cleaner includes: a suction unit; a main body that is connected with the suction unit and separates dust from air sucked through the suction unit; and a handle unit that is connected to the main body, wherein the main body includes: a first body and a second body; a sealing member for sealing a boundary between the first body and the second body; and a support body that supports the sealing member and has an opening that communicates with the suction unit.

A central vacuum cleaning system includes an inlet valve mounted at various locations in a structure or RV and connected to the inlet end of a vacuum conduit. A section of hose is slidably mounted within the conduit and extends from the inlet valve for cleaning an adjacent area. The hose includes a hose plug connected with a distal end of the hose. The hose plug includes an annular channel and an orthogonally aligned slot. The hose plug may also include a first seal and a second seal.

A cleaner includes: a suction unit; a main body that is connected with the suction unit and separates dust from air sucked through the suction unit; and a handle unit that is connected to the main body, wherein the main body includes: a first body and a second body; a sealing member for sealing a boundary between the first body and the second body; and a support body that supports the sealing member and has an opening that communicates with the suction unit.

A floor tool unit for a surface treating appliance, the floor tool unit having: a coupling member; a floor tool pivotally coupled to the coupling member about a first axis; a support member having a longitudinal support member axis, the support member being pivotally coupled to the coupling member about a second axis such that the support member axis and second axis are non-perpendicular; and a tube member attached to the floor tool and to the support member; wherein the tube member extends through the coupling member. A surface treating appliance comprising the floor tool unit and a vacuum cleaner comprising the floor tool unit are also provided.
