There is described a fluid flow measuring and control device for installation within plumbing. The device comprises a main flow channelling system having an inlet and an outlet for connection to the plumbing, and a bypass channelling system in parallel from the main flow channelling system. A flowmeter is provided in the bypass channelling system for measuring the fluid flow in the bypass channelling system and thereby estimating the fluid flow at the inlet or at the outlet of the main flow channelling system. The flowmeter may comprise a wheel and a pair of movement sensors. A valve such as a solenoid valve can be provided as an on/off control for the plumbing. Using a microcontroller, the device can identify which appliance is used and determine consumption, or detect abnormal use or leaks and close the valve and/or notify a user mobile device.

The photoelectric flowmeter circuit also includes a circuit output end electrically connected to the collector of the photosensitive triode through the DC blocking circuit.

A sensor apparatus and a method of operating the sensor apparatus can include one or more sensors and a circuit board, wherein the one or more sensors can include a rotatable component (e.g., pulse disk, crank, pin, shaft, etc), and an angular circuit board assembly that maintains the circuit board in an angular position with respect to the rotatable component in an arrangement that allows the rotatable component to dive through the circuit board. The sensor can be, for example, a magnetic sensor, a light emitting diode or a photo diode. The sensor apparatus can include a flow channel and the rotatable component can oscillate to provide a measurement of a flow of fluid through the flow channel. The sensor apparatus can be used for the mechanical/electrical detection of pulses of a rotary motion.

The centrifugal pump includes a flow measuring device (3) adapted to measure a delivery flow through the pump by means of a turbine wheel (32) including at least one permanent magnet (42). The flow measuring device includes at least one magnetic flux sensor (50, 51) arranged in a sensor housing (48) mounted in an outer wall of the pump casing (2). A rotatable disc (52) is fixed on a pump shaft and includes at least one permanent magnet (53). The flow measuring device is adapted to measure the delivery flow on the basis of a first measurement signal generated by the at least one magnetic flux sensor as a result of the rotation of the turbine wheel and to include in the measurement of the delivery flow a second measurement signal generated by the at least one magnetic flux sensor as a result of the rotation of the rotatable disc.

The light sensing unit includes a first light transceiver module and a second light transceiver module disposed near the main body in an asymmetrical manner with respect to the central axis to transmit and receive the light passing through the translucent portion.
