PUSHING-DISPENSING AND/OR DOSING ELEMENT FOR DISPENSING AND/OR DOSING OF MEDIUM, IN PARTICULAR COMPOSITE HEAVY FLUID COMPOUND (CHFC)
A pushing-dispensing and/or dosing element for dispensing of medium, in particular Composite Heavy Fluid Compound (CHFC) or plurality thereof, solves technical problem of implantation of a pushing-dispensing and/or dosing element that will not have sliding and/or moving parts, or it will have a limited number of said sliding and/or moving parts essentially exposed to medium, preferably CHFC, or plurality thereof by using a flexible cartridge that behaves differently during the pushing of CHFC, and differently during pumping of said CHFC's out of the tank in which they are held.
APPLICATION DEVICE FOR COATING COMPONENTS WITH A COATING AGENT
An application device for coating components with a coating agent includes: a print head having several individual nozzles for discharging the coating agent; and a nozzle valve attached to each individual nozzle, each nozzle valve being openable for a valve opening time to discharge the coating agent from the respective nozzle. Each nozzle valve is assigned in each case a nozzle valve supply line, which nozzle valve supply line, at an outlet opening thereof, supplies the coating agent to the respective nozzle valve. Each nozzle valve supply line has an inlet opening to be closed or shut off such that a quantity of the coating agent that is metered in a defined manner or a volume of the coating agent that is metered in a defined manner is receivable in a closed off manner within the nozzle valve supply line.
Metering unit for free-flowing solids
A metering unit for flowable solids including an outlet nozzle of flexibly elastic material having at one end an inlet opening for fixing on the outlet of a storage container and at its other end a slot-shaped outlet opening formed between two opposite sealing lips and elastically preloaded in the closed position and can be transferred against elastic preloading to an open position as a result of compressive forces. The slot-shaped outlet opening is elastically preloaded into its closed position by a separate clamp made from a flexibly elastic material, which can be applied releasably to the outer circumference of the sealing lips, wherein the legs of the clamp rest on the outside of the sealing lips in the mounted state and are elastically preloaded in the direction in which they are close together and can be moved elastically away from one another as a result of the compressive forces.
Apparatus and method for dispensing a metered dose of a product
An apparatus for dispensing a metered dose of a product, and a method for using the apparatus. The dispensing device has a charging configuration in which an outlet (112; 212) is closed and a metering chamber (120; 220) is configured to expand to its expanded configuration while receiving product through an inlet (111; 211). It also has a discharging configuration in which the outlet (112; 212) is open and the metering chamber (120; 220) is configured to contract to its contracted configuration while expelling the received product through the outlet (112; 212), thereby dispensing a metered dose of product. The dispensing device further comprises a latch mechanism (140; 240), configured to retain the dispensing device in the charging configuration until the metering chamber (120; 220) attains its expanded configuration. The method comprises actuating an actuator (130; 230) of the dispensing device, to fill the metering chamber, and releasing the actuator to dispense the metered dose of product.
Method to perform a measurement of an analyte in a sample using an automatic analyzer
A method of performing a measurement of an analyte in a sample using an automatic analyzer is provided. The automatic analyzer comprises: a cartridge for dispensing a fluid, a measurement unit for performing the measurement, a sample holder for receiving the sample, and a pump for pumping the fluid out of the cartridge and into the sample holder. The cartridge comprises: a rigid portion, a flexible bladder, and an outlet. The rigid portion comprises an opening, which is connected to an inner cavity. The flexible bladder seals the opening to form a fluid chamber from the inner cavity. The fluid chamber is at least partially filled with the fluid. The pump is connected to the outlet. The method comprises: placing the sample into the sample holder, controlling the pumping of the fluid from the cartridge into the sample holder, and performing the measurement of the analyte using the measurement unit.
The method comprises actuating an actuator (130; 230) of the dispensing device, to fill the metering chamber, and releasing the actuator to dispense the metered dose of product
Hopper and medicine supply apparatus including the same
A hopper having a passage through which a medicine can be passed downward is provided. A part of a lower portion of the hopper is a deformable portion having flexibility, and the deformable portion is deformable so as to open and close the passage. According to this configuration, the deformable portion that is a part of the hopper is deformed to open and close the passage. Thus, there is no portion such as an opening and closing plate on which the medicine remains, thereby preventing a gap in which the medicine remains from being formed in the hopper, and preventing the medicine from easily remaining in the hopper.
