DOSING CLOSURE AND CONTAINER UTILIZING THE SAME
Doser for a container containing a substance. The doser includes a dosing member configured to be located at least partially inside a dispensing end of a container. The dosing member includes at least a bottom wall, a retaining wall and a retaining space of predetermined volume configured to retain a dispensable amount of said substance. When the doser is arranged on a container and the container dispenses the dispensable amount of the substance, the dosing member substantially prevents the substance contained in the container from either passing into the retaining space or being dispensed with the dispensable amount.
Vertically oriented transportable container with improved stability
A transportable container apparatus includes an elongate container having a central axis and a base attached to a bottom end of the container. The container and base are substantially symmetrical about the central axis and the container is oriented substantially vertically with the base resting on a ground surface when in a working position. The container having an upper container section with upper walls substantially parallel to the central axis and a lower container section with lower walls substantially parallel to the central axis. The upper container section includes a sloping hopper at a bottom thereof to direct granular material into the lower container section. A floor of the container is sloped toward an outlet port defined in a ported wall of the lower container section such that granular material stored in the container slides down the floor to the outlet port.
Dispensing closure for powdered products
A dispensing closure for a powdered product that uniquely meters powdered product from a container is disclosed. The dispensing closure includes an upper deck having a dispensing aperture. An inner skirt depends from the upper deck. The inner skirt is adapted to secure to a neck of a container. A tube depends from the upper deck and is sized and dimensioned to reach near the bottom of a container. The tube has a side surface and closed end. A dispensing port is located on the side surface of the tube, near the dispensing aperture. The tube may optionally have an air intake port located on the side surface of the tube near the closed end.
DISPENSING DEVICE
A dispensing device for introducing a pourable detergent in metered amounts into a treatment chamber of a program-controlled cleaning appliance includes a housing provided with a loading aperture; a carrier unit rotatably mounted in the housing and accessible via the loading aperture and which serves to replaceably receive a supply container for holding the detergent; and a housing cover providing fluid-tight closure of the loading aperture. The housing cover includes a cover member providing the fluid-tight closure of the loading aperture and a locking member movably attached to the cover member, the locking member including a plurality of locking elements, each cooperating with a respective locking finger disposed on the housing.
SUPPLY CONTAINER FOR A DISPENSING DEVICE
A supply container for placement in a dispensing device of a program-controlled cleaning appliance, in particular a dishwasher, includes a main body providing a volumetric space, the volumetric space being of a size suitable for storing an amount of powdered detergent sufficient for performing a plurality of wash cycles. The main body includes a bottom portion. and a circumferential side wall integrally formed therewith, the side wall being equipped with a flange located opposite the bottom portion and extending radially outwardly from the side wall.
Metering material dispenser
A measuring and dispensing device is defined for a stored flowable material. The device includes a container portion and a lid or covering portion. A first spout portion is formed as part of the container and is positioned on the outside of a sidewall, adjacent an upper rim. The first spout portion defines a measurement chamber. The lid closely fits on the upper rim of the container. A second spout portion is integrally formed with the lid and projects from the lid sidewall, adjacent an engagement rim. The second spout portion defines a pre-measurement chamber within the container sidewall. The first and second spout portions aligned upon assembly of the container and the lid, with the first spout portion positioned within the measurement chamber. The first spout portion is spaced from the second spout portion, with the spacing defining a discharge passageway for the measurement chamber.
Dry product dosage dispenser and method for producing same
A dry product dosage dispenser has a container with a cavity between top and bottom ends, a cap on the top end, and an internal partition extending between the top and bottom ends of the body, forming two sub-cavities within the body. The internal partition forms a diverging funnel-like structure giving each sub-cavity a wide upper opening on one end and a narrow lower opening on the opposite end to help product freely flow from one end to the other. Product passes from one sub-cavity to the other through an opening in the internal partition. The dispenser is flipped from its upright position to dispense the product passed through the opening. An adjustable volume compartment can be used at the second end of the container to enlarge the volume of the dispenser and provide variable dosages. The internal partition may be removable or separate for use as an insert.
Container for dosing a flowable solid
Embodiments are directed to a container for dispensing equal doses of a flowable solid. The container may include a body defining an interior volume including a storage volume, an outlet passage, and a dosing chamber in communication with the storage volume and the outlet passage. The container may include a closure that has a lid and a plunger. The lid may be rotatably coupled to the body such that it rotates about a first axis from a closed position to an open position. The plunger may be rotatably coupled to the lid and configured to seal the dosing chamber. The container may be configured to dispense a dose of the flowable solid when the plunger is in the unsealed position and the container is at least partially inverted, and each dose may have an equal volume.
MEASURING AND DISPENSING DEVICE
A measuring and dispensing device for a flowable material has a cap body configured to be removably secured to a container, the cap body having a bottom wall that extends across the container and has a bottom aperture configured to allow the flowable material to pass from the container into the cap body. A top housing extends over the bottom aperture, the top housing including a top wall having a top aperture. A metering button is slidably mounted within the top housing for rectilinear movement between a closed position and a dispensing position. A metering bore is formed through the metering button, the metering bore being aligned with the bottom aperture in the closed position to receive a predetermined volume of the flowable material, and being aligned with the top aperture in the dispensing position to dispense the predetermined volume of the flowable material. A biasing mechanism is disposed within the cap body for biasing the metering button toward the closed position.
